You may want to read up on header length by viewing the rest of this N/A subforum.

Yeah i have had a good look at various threads and it all seems like a lot of theory. I would quiet like to see what people have actaully built and what results have been had as a result.

Little bit more done in some "spare" time today.

Bodged a manifodl together out of scraps lying around. Very short at this point only 24". I will be rebuilding a 92" header once i have cleared the back log of customer cars. This will do for now just to get her running.

LT8 Installed for easy access LM-1 Wide band jack mounted above

Microtech Dash unit installed too.

Can't wait to get her running. Adjustment of fuel lines and FRP needed then "Fire it UP"

Right had a chance in the evenings to do a few more bits on this. Getting closer by the day. Hopefull by the end of next week if my vbands turn up.

So redesigned the exhaust as i had an offer on the one in the privious page. Did this one to suite the Peripheral port engine. Shortened the intake a little to try and match it in with the exhaust.

New rear silencer

Bendy long 94" manifold. (not finished in the pics. Its missing 20").

Yes the system will be collected at 92". Up to the end of those silencers is only 71" so a few more to go yet!?!

AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yet another stumbling block. Turns out i overlooked a certain detail that wasn't included in the Mircotech ECU manual !!! Turns out that when using the LT-8 instead of the LT-8s you need to use an external igniter before the coils!
Theres me trying to figure out why the hell i have no spark roaming the manual checking the wiring... Turns out i'm missing a key componant because the manual dosn't say you need to run a different set up.

So late model FD ignitor and coils going in over the next few days. Then we should have ignition and fire. Then we can start to prep for paint.

Nice bodywork! Have you considering wrapping the headers or intake runners to reduce heat transfer to the intake air?

Few more nothing major at the moment....

Wheels... much to my supprise when i purchased these i assume that i was buying wheels that had only been painted once by rota... Now when i began to strip these i took off my top coat, my green then my primer. Down to the white base i had ordered from Rota...... Then the white came off to reveal the primer underneither.... then some black.... then more primer!!!!

THATS :
primer, black, sealer, primer, white, then primer, green clear!!! 8 layers of paint!!!!! Even more more shocking 5 layers from the factory.... WTF! You have any idea hwo much inertial that is... friggin loads!

Some of the car before paint ready to go just need the time! go advans on, Gives an idea of the width of the new body mods over standard.
