I would suggest quality exhaust I can run up there with you if you want. I know the guy pretty well and have had him do all of my exhaust work for a while.

I think kyles dad has a welder too.

I still need to get a bigger exhaust. She needs to breath. Not spool fast. Car stuff sucks cause of the money side of it. But I should have it done by next paycheck at least. Like after this one this week. Oh well its a daily driver project. And I'm gonna keep goin with it. Gotta love the RX7. Alright guys keep on.

My car is sick. Must be the weather or somthing. Expecially the -21degrees on monday. Just started running like **** about 2 days ago monday afternoon later on after I got off work. Feels like its running off one rotor. Started acting up about half way across town when I was heading home, car was warmed up cause i was driving it prior to this incednet. Gradually losing power then could barley get home just felt like it had one rotor power. I dont know if it was the fuel being really watered from the cold or a vac leak somewhere. So check for vac leaks. didnt find any. Put some heet in the fuel tank along with about 5 more gallons of gas to get it nice and mixed. (was at about a quarter tank) After fill was about at half a tank. I know less fuel in the tank the more it condensates. Its reccomended that when cold the tank should be as full as possible to prevent condensation. But checked the fuel pump to make sure it was still good. Found out its a Walbro pump and its new. so that wasnt the problem. Primed the fuel system. Started it up after a while of trying to get it started. Still same problem. I even let it run a while to get it warmed up and to see if the "watered" fuel would pass through the system and run into the heet to get absorbed. I adjusted the tps while i was at it and re adjusted the idle speed. I still cant find the problem. Anyone got any ideas? Cause I dont know what else to do.

Compression test done Rear Rotor is out. Its got compression on one face. Figured that from the one bounce coming from the tester. Final compression was under 80psi if that. Front was at about a 100psi for all 3 faces. bounced at about 60psi for the pulses. Whats up with the rear rotor goin out on these engines more than the front rotor? Well it looks like im goin for a fresh start. Any one got any good ideas for the rebuild I dont like the idea of sending it off cause of shipping and stuff Its just a hastle. But it might be worth it to get it done that way if it wasnt so expensive. I might do it myself and get the specs from the FSM or where ever and get all the seals and stuff. Port it and ****. Then blow it up and rebuild it again. ha ha I'll figure something out.

Hi

Your rear rotor fails first because the ECM cuts the fuel to the rear rotor when it detects excess boost. Makes it run lean and cooks the seals.

By the Way I'm from Montana as well. '83 RX-7 with a few mods. Ask Kyles dad he knows me.

Yeah I can understand that. Oh and kyle and clint houge say Hello. They have been telling me of your plans. If you go with stock electronics stay away from Jspec N374 wiring harness and ecu's. I have a Jdm harness in my car and to say the least it is not the best of options. Buy USDM n370 not n374

You need to fix the fuel leak first or there will be no point in tuning the carb. How is the B-town Jeff school?
