We can set up the bottle show at Crits as long as he doesn't mind. Go ahead and start selling tickets. The revenue will go towards my doctor bills.
I'd love to do some scooter jumps, but that scooter is gone, and mine is in Marietta and I definitely don't see it making the trip to The Mitty. Get a hold on someone's pit bike, another table, some more tires, and we can make it happen for sure.

For any of you poor souls who will not be able to make it to the event with a Mazda, you are all welcome to stand next to my car for pictures. I'd hate for anyone to feel left out.
Seriously though, it will be nice to meet everyone, even those showing up in Toyotas.
P.S. Tim, I think you know this, but I'll be there Thursday through Sunday for camping...

Mike,
I am down for trying out the bottle propulsion, but only over water, not enough beer in the world to try it over dry land. We will have to save that for the next lake outting.
I am still unsure if I will be able to make it this year. The rx7 isnt back together yet, but I finally have all the parts back. I just need to pick up fluids, have time to do the work, and some testing and tuning. I am wrenching on it after classes and such, but it's the end of the semester, so it's busy busy time. I am able to make it I won't be able to take the whole weekend off work, but after talking to Billy I will try to come down for Saturday. Since it's also the weekend of finals, I won't be able to make the call if I can come or not until it gets closer.

Donnie, I think we should try this, but do it over a field of parked Verts. Just think of all that soft, plush leather to fall into.
Good luck getting your car together, I hope you make it. Mine is finally back on the road, most of the bugs worked out, and seems to be ready for the trip. But with 235,000 miles on her, it's always an adventure. lol.
Hope to see you there...

Super Dave, hope to see the Copper Phoenix rise again from the ashes! (That's the FB Tim, this is the Mitty after all).
Give our thanks to the wife and family for being so understanding.
Tim, I haven't made any home brew lately, but as I recall, you bottle the beer, not beer the bottle.
Unless of course you sat down and tested a bunch of the stuff before sending out the email announcing "A nice creamy oatmeal stout."
Sounds great!

This is the FD. The FB is just sitting waiting its turn. The FD needs to get sold at the Mitty! I hope anyways.
Ray, I think he had already been testing the brew when he made that post. It must be good stuff.

Ray + waffle wheels = nonsense.
Whats the new color of the FD? I thought the gun metal grey was nice as it was.
I did test the brew last night while bottling. We have at this time 54, err make that
53 bottles of beer. The next hurtle is to see how much is left by Thursday and then
how much can fit iin the rx7 for the trip down in the coolers.
I'll also try to bring down a limited quantity of very hard cider. We're talking 18% abv
and it fizzes like champange.

Hey, who allowed Easter to be the Sunday before the Mitty. My kids are all coming home and bringing their wives and friends. I may not get any work done on The Blue, but I will AIS (*** in seat) by 10:00 on next Friday. I'll be setting up the tent and tasting the stout by noon.

Since I am selling the car and really trying to sell it while I am at the Mitty, I wanted to put some new color on it. Things got carried away and the engine was soon pulled and everything gutted. Yesterdays weather did not help my cause at all. Put a halt to all paint work as it was too cold to spray anything . Workin hard today thru thursday.
Someone buy my FD at the Mitty please!! The locals can tell you how it does on the track and all around. Great price for a single turbo FD IMO.

y'all won't believe this.... I am still coming but we had an accident at the shop yesterday. I just got to texas from kansas and we were rushing to prep the 88 car. In the process we had to move a bunch of other cars(pushing not driving). My daughter's were helping me out and my youngest bless her heart was trying the hardest however she went somewhere she wasn't supposed to be and got hurt we ended up spending time in the ER and a night in the hospital because she hurt her leg. She will be fine and said at least I got hurt and not the car.... talk about guilt...... anyhow car is prepped, girl is home and medicated and tuesday we will leave.
