Only update I have is I'm tuning for E-85 and I replaced my clutch about 1000 miles ago with a Exedy stage 1 and ACT Street light flywheel. I have also been considering selling/trading for something else, maybe get back into a Audi or find a Bimmer.

Here is a guess to what I'm making on E-85 I would say it's +/- 10-15hp

 

Didnt you learn anything from your last E-85 attempt? Maybe invest in some rods that are worth a **** first??? Just an idea.

It's short notice but there is a FF5 car show at the Cinema's in Davenport tomorrow. I think some cars from the movie and Mischief TV will be there, prizes and **** I guess. If anyone wants to come down it would be cool to see some of you.

 

It would be more cool if you met up with Angie and I @ Sycamore mall in IC tonight before 7 to see it there. A guy from my ex job will also be in attendance. Its gonna be sweet.

Jason - I would like to borrow your car and finally complete what I started on it. Mainly buffing out everything that I missed before. It would be nice to do it while you are still out of town so that when you come back it will already be done and you can drive it wherever/whenever you want.

It's drivable (minus hooking the battery up).

I dont' believe it idles very well as I just got it working before I left but is drivable.

I think it idles around 500rpm (need to give it more air - there is a screw under the throttle body you can't see but you prolly shouldnt' mess with it.... LOL).

I have some 99 Spec Side Skirts that I need to painted/install on the car also. Not sure where i left the paint - Might be in the garage on my shelf.

I dont' have a problem with you moving the car just have insurance and I'm not liable for any tickets you might recieved (Tint/exhaust/etc).

 

Ian, I can probably just drop off the FD and have Rachel follow me in the truck to pickup my parts same time. Maybe weekend after this one? let me know a good time.

If borrow anyone's car I WILL be pulled over for tint even if the owner never has, or if the windows aren't tinted at all, I'm not really sure why this is. Some say its because i look like a douche who needs a ticket, and/or that i always appear to have a look of a guilty man on my face, both of which i cant fully argue with- but how can they see me through the tint if its so illegal and dark? lol

that crack was from when i got the car. It never gets bigger because it never gets hot/cold fast since not driven in winter (heat inside/cold outside).

Ya i got some stuff to take care of but it's all minor now (cosmetic for most part).

I want to get those 99 spec skirts and front lip put on soon - should even teh car our a bit.

You guys gonna have some event in Aug? I'd like to take the car out to some races too.

 

Honestly those small craxks like that are easily repairable. Ive done many in my day. Bad thing is they used to only cost 30-35 to fix and now (as of a few-6 months ago) they are closer to 80. Still worth it to fix it before it gets worse. It can spread easily on say a hot day and you wash it (like in august).
