Hey Iowa IV
Yeah well just remember that I may be busy when you call me in the pouring down rain and want to break into your car while its running and doors are locked. I really didnt want to replace that window but guess what? You didnt answer your phone. And yes, I drank about a full gallon of Haterade today so lets go!!! lol
I'll try to have the FD running again by the 10th so I can bring it to a meet.
I leave for 3 weeks military starting tomorrow so I'll have to hurry when I come back.
I'm pretty satisfied how the engine turned out so far but I have a lot of goodies I still have to install.....

My goal is to have my FC running by July 12th. It would be great to have it done for the meet so I can actually meet some of you guys. Ian is the only one on here I've actually met and I'd like to hope that the rest of you guys aren't as wierd as that guy. I'll be moving from July 15th through the end of the month and would like to drive the FC instead of having it trailered to my new place.
It sounds like this is now set in stone, we just need to find a place to meet, like a BWW or Old Chicago or something like that. I talked to Brian and he said he was down to come up also. I will say something to the Subie guys down here and see if I can't get a couple to come up with us.
I should update my location, but I live in Dubuque now and have for about a year in a half. My parents live over in Maquoketa still and I go over there every couple weeks. They're doing alright over there, the tornado was like a F1 I believe, 105 MPH winds. I think it hit the outside of town really and didn't cause all that much damage. Dad didn't have much to say about it, so I guess it wasn't anything major, but assuming it had hit the middle of town it would probably have been worse.
i got a short list of stuff here in town, and what kind of food is there.
1. buffalo wild wings - duh
2. red robin -burgers and stuff
3. chaamps -burgers and stuff
4. bandanas -i havent been, youll have to ask cody about it.
5. hu hot -mongolian
6. happy joes -pizza
7. shot tower -pizza
i dont know of much else that would be good for a group of us. unless we want fast food. i figured i would try to at least come up with a list of what i could think of that is actually good. i would probably lean toward the top 3 (and maybe bandanas, but ive never been there)

I know my opinion was not asked of but Im giving it to you anyways...
-Buffalo Wild Wings is always a great choice and as well as gets my vote. Great food and it will be a good crowd pleaser, just try not to give in and eat the Blazing Hot's since you will most likely pay for it later and trust me its not pleasant..
My other suggestion is Bandanna's, its all smoked food that definitely worth a try. Not much to describe until you try it yourselves..
I work in Clive and frequent a lot of these places for lunch, so I hope its helps.
Whats decided so far for dates?

I'm thinking BWW is going to be the place of choice here from the looks of it. It's easy to find too which is a plus.
B-Dubs is a good place and I've been to lots of car meets there. They are usually pretty accomidating for groups.
Red Robin has great food, but is a more family friendly place that tends to cater less to groups.
Chaamp's has great food, but is a little more expensive. They are great if you can snag one of the "party rooms".
Bandana's has amazing food and we are actually having them cater my wedding rehersal dinner. Not sure how they are with groups.
HuHot is probably my favorite restaurant ever, but is also a little more pricey. You won't leave hungry though. The Central Iowa Subaru Club just had a meet at one in Ankeny and it sounds like they were pretty accomidating.
