i haven't had time to do much on my FC but the Mrs just picked this up a few weeks back:

She only had it about 10 days and one Saturday we were cruising around in Cedar rapids, and we lined up with a car at a stop light i who had been revving at us the past few lights. So being me i said- "He wants to run em, common you can beat him!" even though he had a 1968 440 Super-bee, and we probably didn't have a chance . The light turns green, she launches her car and he starts to pull away once he hits second, I'm thinking the guy either Can't drive or is toying with us, because he should have left us like we were sitting still.. We come up over the hill both cars still on it pretty hard- doing 10-20 over, and meet a cop, who immediately pulled us over for racing and no plates front or rear. He went for us and not the American muscle that was going 10mph faster and 1.5-2 cars ahead, of course...
Then he let her off with a warning b/c she is a woman! the cop actually said: "I'm gonna overlook the racing and speeding- Now don't let those boys entice you into racing like that, have a good night"

Well a month of no one posting so I assume you all are dead. If you're not here's what's on the agenda for the Subie in the next couple weeks.
18g, large top mount, modded stock injectors, drilled and slotted rotors, stop tech pads, stainless steal lines. I'm going to be taking my intake off and doing some cleaning up of my engine bay. Then find someone to tune it and enjoy.
Anyone else doing anything sweet like me?

As for my work, I haven't done too much. Put coilovers on the girlfriend's car, undercoated it, changed some control arms. As far as the W8 I haven't done anything besides clean it. I'm actually thinking of selling it and picking up something else.
Damn E! That thing is clean! I can't wait to see it in person!
Cody I'll try to make it up one of these days. I've got a busy couple of weeks coming up, might be making a trip to NC to pick a car up for Brian. Also with all the add ons to my car. Going up to Des Moines to trade for some Stance coilovers Wednesday too!
No I will not say what Brian is going to get and neither will he so don't bother texting him Ian....

She actually wants to run it at Cordova before winter. It looks great but it needs some HP in my opinion, just has Intake/exhaust.
I'm looking for an LSD for it currently, it ll be a lot more fun after that.

I miss manual trans a lot is a lot of the reason. Also, I just want something I can "play" with a bit more. The W8's are basically already built up and there isn't anything else you can really do besides drive the **** out of it. lol

yeah I'm hoping to add a few ponies to her car so its close to the M3 so we can race each other and have it be close.
right now shes down about 90 flywheel hp but shes about 600 lbs lighter and has a 5 speed so im not sure what shell need to make it even. I guess Stock 240s run like 15.7's lol

I'm off to DSM to put some coilovers on my car tonight, the brakes yesterday were awful but I got them done and they feel soooooo good!
On a more rotary related note - OMFG I JUST SEEN THE CLEANEST FB EVER!!! 85 GSL-SE with (get this) 7000 miles on it. The owner lives 3 miles outside of Iowa City. His wife wanted him to buy it when it came out and he didnt get one with power steering so she hated it and then he barely ever drove it lol. White with brown interior. I swear I have never see taillights on an FB that perfect and clean. My mind is officially blown...
