and, got the wideband all hooked up and working right. got the idle tuned really nice.
im going to let it do a little more running in the garage tomorrow, then take it out for a drive. then, gotta start tuning everything. hooray.

What ECU you running?

I just got done installing a new LC-1.

Now I can actually log my AFR in the haltech

 

ive got an apex'i power fc, and the lc-1 as well.

 

PFC .... ew....

 

aw, dont hate.
its an easy transition for someone (like myself) just getting into the standalone ecu game.
i looked at a couple haltechs, but i guess i just kinda got scared away.
i will get one eventually, just gotta work my way up to it.

I say jump into a haltech with both feet!!! it may cost you an engine but, then you can get better at building them

 

I don't have a HUGE problem with the unit itself.... altho extremely barbaric and crude.....

oh and this silly expensive dongle called a "commander" lol......

It's the fact people try to use their stock brittle 100-200k harness that's shady as Eric in a junk yard.
