For those of you that are going to RR where do you guys plan on staying?

I think I might try the

Ramada
6023 Gateway Drive
Plainfield, IN, 46168 US
317-839-3670

Indianapolis, IN- Revolution Marketing has negotiated a deal with the Plainfield Ramada Inn at a very low rate. Call now to make your reservation. Simply tell them you need a room for the Rotary Revolution arriving April 22nd and checking out on April 24th, 2005.

At just $39/night the Ramada Inn is conveniently located off the freeway in Plainfield, IN. We have reserved the entire hotel until February 15th. After this date they will allow non-Rotary Revolution guests to book rooms.

All room reservations come with a complimentary breakfast each morning that includes:

Make your own Belgian Waffles
Cereal
Hot Oatmeal
Muffins
Danishes
Donuts
Coffee
Juice

Don't wait, book your room today before they are all gone! The hotel only has 57 rooms at this rate.

For people going post a time and ill see when we can swing down 80 and pick the CR and the QC guys up.

I'm staying at the Wingate next door to Lee's Inn. I actually stayed at Lee's this year, but was too late getting in there this year

I'm heading to Chicago either Thursday night or Friday morning to roll in with the Chicago crew. I already had that planned when I was still the only Iowa person registered, so I don't want to really break those plans.

Good news for me! Hours have changed at work and now I get every other saturday off instead of wednesday. So, I will definately be able to go on 14th. Has anyone decided on the best time? I am fine with 11-4 or later in evening. If someone knows, let me know too!

We're leaving at about 2:30PM. I'd like to get there a little early. Keep in mind, it start then, but the first pool goes to the track at about 7:15. Get there, get settled in the room and not have to rush around at all. Like I said, if some of you want to come down Thursday, feel free as I have plenty of room. I've got two couches (one of which has two recliners) and two regular recliners. So I can fit five. Any extras will have to floor it, but that will break up your trip some. I know bricke is coming down then.

I normally take 20 over to I-90 then into Chicago that way. It's pretty quick. But I can head to Davenport and take 80 over. It depends on where I meet them on Friday Not likely I will come down Thursday night at this point, the wife is already complaining about me being gone 3 days

Hey guys, how about Robins Park? Robins is a small town on the north side of Cedar Rapids, basically between Hiawatha and Marion. Nice park, has a shelter. I want to drive over there and take a look first (I've been working too many hours to be able to do any research), and I know a guy that's on the Robins City Council, so he may be able to help us get hooked up. I'll try to go over and research the Ellis pavillions too.

I just found out that I wont be able to make the May 14th meet in CR. I have a drift event that I have to go to in Sheridon, IL. Chance I may be competing with my bro, cousin, and a couple friends. If there is any chance that we could move the meet to a week earlier or later that would be fantastic. But I don't expect everyone to change their plans just for me *Although that would be very nice*

We're all set - Saturday May 14, from 11 - 4 at the Overlook pavillion in Ellis Park. I'll work on a map for out of towners.
