Alright Iowa........

Weather is getting nice-

Regional forum has been dead-

We can start talk'n about a date to host an event-

If nothing else we can post status of our vehicles (running/upgrading/etc)

Suggest a month and we'll narrow from there.

Also weekends will work better for me.

As for my vehicles-

The TII doesn't have a battery and not insured but I will prolly have a friend take it to the event this time.

The FD will be there again. I've swapped out the interior (black 94) and am now working on suspension when the money allows for it

As long as a date is set at least 2 weeks in advance I will be able to get the time off from work. My 83 runs, and is about to be upgraded/fixed here in about 3 weeks. Interior will be almost done (black/gray) and hopefully I will have the lsd and all the poly bushings installed.

The red vert may be there. He has new job and works a ton of hours.
The purple 85 also may be there but most likely not.

I'm down for anything. I'm always up to meet new people. Plus I could use some advice my new TII.

As for my car...
88 T2 Got the body work completed and car aligned. Car will be painted by the end of April. Currently building funds to purchase some coilovers (Tein HE's) ..... couple more weeks and I'll have enough to purchase them. Jason....I'm going to be needing some help with removing all my emissions soon...I'll get ahold of you on MSN sometime.

Engine shot...

Body work...

glad to see you were able to save a TII.

emissions is really easy and I recommend removing the twin scroll along with it. I have some manifolds that have been welded.

the Tein HA are a good choice IMO (not too high of spring rates)

I'll prolly run those in my FD

I have racing beat springs and Illumina in the TII and like them but ride a bit too low for 245's in front.

I would like to attend RR but don't know date or anythign. I want to hear Steve talk about tunning (mostly on ignition).

I'll be running an E6X in the FD. I've installed one in a TII (what a saga). I'm sure casey will chime in on his ride pretty soon.

ryan1 what the story with the engine your building? You doing any porting?

I decided not to do a SP on the FD (daily driver) and just cleaned up the ports. I think it helped alot as the casting was awful. I recommend doing that at the least.

I'll go to a meet if there is one. My car should be running in 2-3 weeks, plus I get my license back.

Hopefully we'll be having a pretty stout setup to be bringing with me. I dunno however, the car right now is fueled by hopes and dreams and...not much else. Well...hopes, dreams, and my pocketbook i guess....
I'm game though for whatever.

My TII won't be running again for about 2 months, but Kelly's '86 Sport should be good to go soon.

The rear suspension is out of my FD now. Waiting for few parts. Might take out the diff for no other reason than to remove the rust and repaint it.

I'd really like to go, but it'll depend on if I'm free then and if I have the garage queen back together by then.

I'll be home this weekend. Friday night I'll be at 3rd Street Live watching a friends band play. Saturday I should be in the shop all day. We got my cousins 240 sitting in there right now, he putting a new head package in his SR. My brother has his RB out of his 13 and getting ready to put it in his 14.

I'm ordering a set of block off plates tonight, so you can give me some tips on the emissions removal. My number is 319-361-8766. I'll be around all day Saturday, and most of the day Sunday.
