Newbie Here!, from Cincinatti, Ohio
hey everyone my name is brian and this is my first rx-7/rotary. Its a 87 turbo 2 with 145k on the shell and about 650miles on a new motor. it has a feed turbo .63ar fd housings and irons,s5 rotors, solid aviation corner and apex seals, 1000cc primaries 1600cc secondaries. i think the car feels like it makes around 300-350whp or so and has been a blast so far. i am looking for someone to do a final tune on the car soon and do some motor mounts and bushings this winter along with the ball joints and tie rod ends.

Welcome aboard Brian. Always nice to see a clean, tastefully modified (yet incomplete) S4. Got a few questions about it, somewhat as a safety thing
How was the battery relocation done? There's a right way to do it and lots of wrong ways. More often than not, it is done the wrong way and poses a danger to the vehicle's occupants.
The proper way to do a battery relocation is with a sealed AGM battery (can't slosh acid out the top) and with a proper battery box such as this one made by Aaron Cake: Project Tina, October 1, 2005: Engine Installation, POR-15 Undercoating, ECU Wiring and Battery Box Fabrication
I refined the formula a bit more as shown here: https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...888195/page13/
The lack of air filter on your blowoff valve is somewhat worrisome, presenting an unobstructed path for foreign objects to enter the engine.
Notice how your car is missing the Air Flow Meter, evidenced by how the air filter is directly attached to the turbo inlet? Leads me to believe its got a full standalone EMS in it.
