Hello, my name is Alessio (Alex for friends) and I own a 1999 Fd3s type R.
She's my favorite car in the world and after 6 years together I still love it like day 1.
Been reading this forum ever since, now I feel like I can ask some doubts here since it was such a life saver all these years.
My car was full stock when I bought it, but then a month after the water seals said goodbye. I then began to study the manual and did my first rebuild and street porting (rip to my dremel which died in the process lol), along with the supporting mods needed for a decently good twin turbo setup.
After three years of torturing myself trying to get the sequential system to work, I finally decided to pull the trigger on an IWG BW efr 8374 kit from TurboSource.
Unfortunately my compression let go during tuning due to boost creeping problems and maybe my rebuild not being strong enough I guess, but that's another story for another thread!
Hope to get along with you guys, learn a lot and then maybe being able to give something back to the community sooner of later!
See ya!

Welcome to the club! Beautiful example of a white Series 8 FD. Most here can definitely understand the struggles from the Turbo Control System since Series 7/8 (96-02) is different than Series 6 (92-95). I'm currently in the middle of working on all of the wiring diagrams, getting everything ready for translation from Japanese. Also tidied up both vacuum diagrams so human beings can actually read them too

Welcome to the forum!! That's a beautiful FD! Sorry to hear about the failed engine. Hopefully you'll have the car back out on the road in no time!
