They just wanted to offer that they could do varying styles. I am fine with "Just like the JL Box" but would help a great deal if anyone could provide some more detailed pics...

Marc, sorry to here your camera went missing. I'll post some pics since it is in the trunk of my car. I buffed up the plexiglass and it looks nice again.

I bought mine new in 1998 and it was around $800 (maybe it was $600). Anyhow, I'm happy with it.

Marc, got any time this week or this weekend to finish up the stereo stuff in my car. I should have my Xtant back working and I got a new Eclipse CD5000 HU, sirius and ipod adapters all coming. PM me.

I'll post pictures ASAP.

Regards,
Justin Wade

that seems to be about normal for here...10 people say "I can do that"...then nothing happens and they all disappear into the night. I don't believe anything on this forum anymore until I see proof...and usually it just doesn't happen.

We have a shop who can produce it, they want to produce it but waiting on specs and them to have time to do it.

They can make us one now if they can free-design it to fit like stealth box, but i keep hearing people want an exact replica and for that I need specs.

Thinking if it takes too long I just may have them make me one (their design) and let you guys see if you like it.

Not sure if anyone's interested, but I had a custom audio setup made for my car. I decided to change it out for a bigger sub and two different amps so I no longer have any use for it. Here's a couple pics of the setup in my FD:

http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...d/DSC01635.jpg

I'd like to sell everything together (JL Subwoofer, JL Amp, Eclipse Deck, Box and Vinyl Cover) so, if anyone is interested here's the link to the F/S thread:

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=633856

This might interest someone that wants a system, but doesn't want to wait to have one fabricated or would like a very nice setup for a very affordable price!!!

ha! See my last post in this thread....this is the norm with this forum. Everybody says "yea I can do that no problem"...then they all disappear and you never hear from them again.

Ah, it looks like 2 8" woofers in there, or is that 2 10" woofers?
Obviously ported towards the back of the car.

If you remember, roughly how high did it stick up from the rest of the trunk?

I just want to get an idea of how much trunk space the JL Stealthbox sacrificed and if it needed a false floor to be built around it to make everything around it flush?

They were 2 10 inch woofers. it stuck up half an inch off the floor. It looked great in the trunk. Like it was a factory option.

Lol, storage space. With the bose in there, I couldn't take a large pizza home without a roof rack.

I'm sure this may have been covered in this thread so far, but I just want to have the following data points in one place instead of being spread across all these pages ...

If someone was to work on designing a subwoofer enclosure for the FD, what are the more desirable features one would look for in such an enclosure?

1) Fits in spare wheel well to maximize the already limited trunk space?

2) Said enclosure be designed around a preselected subwoofer and possibly included in the whole package?

3) What else?
