I just emailed the JL Audio rep in the South East yesterday on this. If nothing comes of it at least we can see how JL Audio designed it.

If there is enough interest and they haven't destroyed their molds or whatever needed to reproduce, then why don't you guys contact them for a group buy? I am running two 8's myself but they are 250w/ea. You don't necessarily have to use those speakers and mostley they are discontinued. I'm shure they have other 8" subs that would work in that box. Mine are 8w6's which are discontinued as well. Three 8w6's woud kick some ***.

I received an email from the regional sales director for the SE of the US. He mentioned that the stealth boxes were no longer available recommended a company by the name of Audio Logic to recreate the mold. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Michael there and he stated that he would need the car for a day to lay it out and put a quote together and then three days to build the positive/negative mold. My problem is that I can't be without the car for that period of time right now. I'd like to see if there was someone else in South Florida that could help get the ball rolling for all of us.

The company name is Audio Logic: 954-437-0400

I'd be interested in leaving them my car....for a complimentary unit. If they can do that, I'l be happy to make the trip up there & find a ride back. Let me know Dave.

I spoke to the guys at Cat Five Motorsports... they have a Fiberglass guy who's interested in doing this... I can have them do a prototype but don't want to be doing if someone else is already.

They don't want to supply amp and speakers, but the enclosure itself...

Let me know if you guys want me to move forward on this....

A guy at sound advice said he was going to call his JL rep just to see if they still have the specifications for it... we'll see what he says. otherwise it would be hard to replicate.

i you can get me a list of enough ppl that want this and everyone will agree to wanting the exact same thing then i can make something really nice for you guys. i worked as an installer for a while and have built quite a few boxes and i wouldnt mind making a few over spring break.
