^^^ LOL, same here. I was actually going to wait for these when the thread was first started, but am glad that I made some temporary wood brackets for the time being (I would have been driving around for months with blown, unlistenable speakers). I'm still holding out hope that one day these will happen, and I can replace my DIY brackets with these "proper" ones!

I started reading this thread saying to myself, "I wish this thread was more recent than the beginning of the year so I might still be able to find them on e-bay." Then I got to page 5 and cried.

Just saw this thread and though I should post my set up, 1/8" thick aluminum with bends done by a bender.I had 5 1/2 on but now I am currently upgrading to 5 1/2x 7 earthquake focus speakers a buddy of mines gave me.This set up clears the window and and is bolt on. I had crossovers but they are old and outdated plus the speakers sound way better with the tweeters and them bridged.

Wow! Those look incredible, awesome work!!
Here's a pic of mine, some 1/8 plywood, with 1" plastic spacer rings. These are 6.5" Alpines, they *only just* clear the window and speaker grill, it's really close!

OK everyone,
I contacted the designer/manufacture of these brackets to confirm what has been going on and offered to finish the testing. He said he will try to contact Gringo over the next week and if he doesn't get some responses back i will be the new beta tester to finish this off.

Updates!!!
Gentlemen, thank you for your patience. The last several months have been quite busy for me and I actually bought a base model FD and have not spent anytime with my Touring Project.
Fortunately, another local FD owner, Eddie, has stepped in and helped in taking photos of the finished product INCLUDING measurement photos.
According to Eddie, the brackets are very high quality and fit great. I would appreciate it greatly if everyone looks over the photos and makes any suggestions IF they see a potential issue. If there are no objections, I will let the creator know he can contact IB and begin a Group Buy.
Once again, thank you everybody for your patience and I hope it ends up being worthwhile for the Touring owners.
