Debaging a car..

I just bought a g35 coupe and the dealer painted the whole trunk for me because of some scratches..My question is....

Can i debage the car using a blowdryer and fishing line? Or will the blow dryer have some kind of effect on the clear coat? The car came out of the body shop on thursday....

A hair dryer should be okay. You do live in Florida, after all, so I'm betting your paint gets pretty hot there any way. You could probably carefully take the badges off on a hot day with only the fishing line. Any residue left over will come off with GooGone. Something to think about though. If the car is a couple of years old you could have some paint fading, which will show when you take the badged off.

Goo gone, hair drier.
Use Goo gone sparingly.
Then wax, and buff.
