Nexus Software Available For Elite ECU

Nexus software for the Elite ECUs and the corresponding firmware went into dealer launch this morning. Expect full public launch very soon.

The good: Quicker connection. Loop logging. Oscilloscope. What I don’t see: Keypad integration for the Elite.

Chris, unsure how much information you have, but is this the writing on the wall for the Adaptronic product line? Clearly the Elite is benefitting from some high points of the Adaptronic acquisition, I find it unlikely the Modular will get the same reciprocated (like ESP integration)…

Eliott had alluded to some “big” news over a year ago regarding the merger and sharing of technology, but I wonder if that dream has died for the Adaptronic products.

Loop logging you say? After all the noise from Haltech about how it would never happen?! I am thrilled to hear this. Can't wait. Thanks for informing us.

I have no idea. I’m surprised they’ve kept it around as long as they have. Having two brands with the same market doesn’t make sense at all.

It is not coming. There are no Adaptronic updates in the pipe line.

Makes me very happy they did this.

It does make it easier for them as now, as they only need to update one codebase, good outcome for everyone

I've been really enjoying the faster load time and auto log feature of NSP on my 2500. It hasn't taken too long to get use to the navigation but I still search every now and again. A few minor bugs exist such as the Trace feature hasn't been working for log playback and sometimes, but rarely, the logging doesn't happen. As with any software there are things that could be improved but overall I think NSP on Elite hardware is a big step forward.

Much better !!

NSP update out.

NSP 1.26.0
New Features:
- There is now an option to download all logs from the ECU into a single log file, and optionally clear the onboard logging memory afterwards
- On the 'Select Connection' window for choosing a pin to assign to a function, if any pin is changing significantly then it will be highlighted in green (this is to help users in confirming which wires have been connected to which sensors and switches)

Happy to see it now let’s you delete internal logs along with other logging options 👍
