just an idea.

my co-worker is always talking about how he'd make 3 rotors out of the 1st gen rx7's by adding a spare housing and rotor,so I was thinking about taking my s4 block and merging it with a s5 block and use the wiring and hardware from the s5 to make a 4 rotor.how hard would this be and what all will i need to do it if it's even possible.

This is not a new idea...there are three and four rotor builds all over the forum, youtube, etc. Search instead of posting new threads.

It's definitely possible...ballpark $20k for a 3 rotor build, $50k+ for a 4 rotor.

Sorry but

you just can't take an engine and glue it together. You need a Eshaft to join all those rotors together.
Nice idea, but not well thought out.If it was easy everyone would have done it already.
Shaolin is giving you good advice.

hmm..mix all this info up and you get:
you need money to make a 4 rotor.
Large women are free.
Large women will pay for "smaller sized guys"

So,with that you can get her to pay for your 4 rotor.

Just don't get confused and try to slip the 4 rotor into the wrong "BUS".

Remember,..like a bicycle..great to ride but wouldn't wanna be seen on one.

*If I offended anyone,I will send out Jenny Craig..'cause yuz gotta be HUGGGGGEE-AH!..

this is even more fail than the rest.

even if you manage to make an adapter between the 2 engines(it will make the 4 rotor ungodly long and heavy) you are still using 2 different compression engines with different power potentials, this will throw off the balance and power potential of the engine as a whole.

for a 3 rotor, no... mazda already made one that is still cheaper to acquire than trying to somehow build one from scratch. you can't just stack rotors together otherwise don't you think there would be more than just a few with 4 rotor engines out there?

If it were that easy people would have 5,6,7+ rotor engines. Why stop at just 3 or 4?
