You MUST heat it with a torch until it starts to glow... Then hit it with an impact driver (preferably 1/2")...

MAKE SURE YOU DON"T USE A 12 POINT SOCKET!!!!!!!!!!! you'll round it off in a heartbeat.....i used a impact socket 1/2" drive and a big breaker bar with a 3/8"' flat stock of aluminum about 6 feet long as a brace in the flywheel (between the dowels)

Alright I doubt that will be to tough for me to do, as long as I try turning the bolt the right way which in my opinion would be to the right, could somebody please verify this for me so I dont end up breaking it off or worse.

you must heat it up because it has the permenant loc-tite stuff on it, make sure you redo it when you reassemble.

Really how have you guys had such a slightly easier time with this, I had a 1/2 breakerbar with a 6' snipe and it ended up breaking the breaker bar, after supper or tommorow I'll be moving up to a 3/4 breaker bar and perhaps a longer snipe and we'll see what happens then, and thanks for all the suggestions so far.

The early cars are fairly easy. Starting with the 3rd gen the factory torque spec was upped to 180-200lb/ft and they used loctite on top of that. Heating the bolt is just about mandatory if you don't have a super dickle pissed impact. Some guys set a breaker bar against the frame rail and bump the starter motor to loosen the bolt. Your results may vary.
