So the next on my to do list is to get myself more steering angle. Whats the cheapest, easiest way to get more? Tie rods, modified spindles, both? I'm just now getting to events and need lots of practice still, but get to full lock way to easy and definitely need something besides what the stock angle can do. Thanks in advance!

the best way to get angle, is to pick up the supernow tierod ends (With inner tierod spacers) or GPsports kit and hit up hotline for the v.2 JTP spindles.

then the only thing that will be in your way will be wheel sizing and other little misc crap like alignment.

tierod kit http://justinpawlak.com/Hot_Line_STO...roduct=1987729

JTP spindles

i would try calling to verify if theyre the V.2 spindles or not to ensure you get the most angle for the money. even the V.1 spindles were a lot of angle, but the new ones are ridiculous.

Those links are the same. I only found those tie rods on rhdjapan... That's a long time to wait. Do you know anywhere in the states that sells them?

I have 17x8 +22 up front. I have my friends fender roller, so I'm planning on rolling them just a tad. No spacers, so it's a tight fit as it sits now.

i would run a 25mm or 37mm spacer with some negative camber

when you do the tie rod ends you can turn the spindle freely with the ends off... turn the wheel full lock and leave 5mm clearance from the lca to the tire or rim...

thats all the angle your wheels and setup will allow... then line the tie rod end (straight) up to the spindle and thats where it needs to be modified.

Do you see????

Yeah, that makes sense. Although 25mm is alot, and I'm not the biggest fan of the whole negative camber thing. Do I really need to go that large to get a noticeable difference? Couldn't I do like 10mm with less camber and still get a decent amount of angle?

do you want decent angle or manly angle????

really tho... get as much angle as your setup will allow... preferences like tire/wheel size, camber, ride height, etc will definately effect max angle.

personally ive found that having Negative offset and Negative camber (in great amounts) is great for max angle... I had everything planned for the wheels... So i pretty much made my spindle mod for my wheels

when i run your size set up i.e. 17x8.5 +28 up front i use a 215/40 RT615 with 2 25mm spacers... effectively -22 offset

Drinking a beer during grunt work or wiring isn't a bad call. When one turns into 5, it's time to find something else to do. :P

having seen the mazdatrix ones/driven them on a friends car, i wouldn't turn people against them, however, the supernow endlinks are of a higher quality imo, and mine have been in use for 4 years, and wrecked/in the rain, had dirt in them, and the heim joints are still tight, and smooth..
they've held up through some ****, and still are around... i bought them for $110 used like 2 years ago, and threw 'em on like in january.

although the mazdatrix ones are better than stock, and still arent far off. theyre the same price, so both could be good. maybe they have already addressed the issue.

yea i dont know as far as quality wise but as far as angle goes the mazdatrix gave me a little more than enough for my use. the supernow just were just a tad bit less than what i needed/wanted. but thats just me i guess.

I just got this in the mail.

too big to fit in the front so im laying next to the rad.

Do you think the air pulling from the rad fan is gonna be too hot when the oil fan sucks it in???

i was thinking about that... i dont think so but my bro was tellin me it would be drawing in hot air

ATS/carbonetic if your budget is that high. That's what i'd buy.

Zenki, there's no room to trim your bumper and make a bracket so it's offset to either side?

Also you could remove that stupid oem bumper bash plastic thingy bracket if you haven't done so already. That might give you enough room. I dunno. Care to show us a pic of it mocked up in that location. Would be easier to give you ideas.

thats a good amount of wiring removed... my bro re-loomed his chassis harness and left out about 3 times as much wiring (from the tail lights to the head lights)

but yea the oil cooler is wayyy huge. will not fit under the headlights without modifying the fender support

where its at it can still flow plenty of air, might be some turbulence from the radiator fan tho...

if anything the oil cooler is safe from being hit in tandem runs, and has less line going to it.

could it heat the radiator up or could the rad heat the oil cooler up from being close to each other???

if you have 1200 to spend, that should be enough to get an os giken 1.5way.. the first and last diff you'll ever need.

i don't see how the mazdatrix kit gives you more angle than the supernow kit when they're exactly the same... other than the colors of the parts....

i have some brand new gp sports angle kits in stock... got both my d1 and formula d licenses with this kit...

then run -3 deg camber in front and 0 toe. spend the rest of your money on tires to practice on!

then after your murdering every run at full lock... hit me back up for spindles!
