i really loved the color match for sure! i wanted to do some BURST inspired vinyl scheme in the same gunmetal/chrome to match the wheels but was always to busy prepping the car or working to go figure something out...

i like that photo shop picture with the gram lights alot

Finally got a day to kinda focus on my RX-7. Started modifying my BN like my last kit, and got the side skirts fitted how i like (low and wide)

After i got that sorted i hacked into my Carbon Shine front fenders and extended them an additional 25mm so now they're 50mm wider than OEM. I still need to make a jig to secure the body line/flare the way i want it (at the wheel) and then i'll start the glassing. but for now here are some photos.

more photos tomorrow.

why do you have a gauge that only your passengers knee could read?

because it's a gauge thats illegal to even have in the cabin, so it's kinda tucked away - its usually mounted aimed towards me, but the ziptie broke.

it's my remote mounted FPR gauge that was ziptied there so my tuner could monitor fuel pressure along with EGT's, and AFR's when we were street tuning it during FD Vegas. kept having weird fuel pressure drops when the secondaries were supposed to fire. got it sorted though

beats me. i thought the gauge portion itself was just a vacuum port. but VegasDrift staff said they wouldn't pass my car until i moved it back into the engine bay.

the rule book states there aren't to be any fuel lines, gauges, or components routed through/into the cabin of the vehicle unless completely firewalled away from the driver.

my fuel cell with -an hard lines, bosch 044 pump, surge tank, and aeromotive inline pump had to be firewalled off so i gave up on it and started selling ****...

Interesting. I never considered a fuel press gauge as dangerous in the cabin. Clubloose out her def doesn't have that rule.

And dudes regularly run with fuel tanks/surge tanks in the trunk and no firewall. No one cares.

i'd rather have my fuel system exposed to show the ballernesss than have it hidden under ugly metal ****.

it's like a 1/1,000,000 shot you would ever actually pile bad enough with fuel in your hatch to catch on fire anyways.

I'm going to do this exact same thing to my AIT fenders. I forgot you were using carbon front fenders. Just wondering is there any advantage to using them other than being slighty lighter weight??

it has truly been a bitch thus far.

i recommend just getting 45mm fenders as opposed to trying this route.

i was thinking of going wider but they're already 1.5" i'm going to have to bring out the LCA farrrrrrr just to match up. i'm worried about the steering feeling gay though.

right now with Stance coils my car feels like it used to - predictable every second.
I'm scared to mess with the lower balljoint/tierod **** too much. :/

+1 For Hotline fronts guys - this is only temporaryy because i'm broke - and no one wanted to buy these. it's not as easy as it looks. i'd much rather spend $$$ than put in 2 solid weeks (maybe more) to make them work. i just dont have cash to spend right now as i need wheels, and in the middle of stacking parts for the 500whp rebuild.... :/

i already needed a 25mm bolt on for my wheels to sit like this with the 30mm fenders.

so im really hoping i'll have like 1/4" clearance or more so i can maybe switch to a 30mm bolt on, and extend the lower ball joint a solid inch - and then use the camber to position the wheel inside the fender so i can dump my car back to where it used to be and HOPPEEEEE it feels good after.

i got that S5 parts car so either way ill just switch it all back if it feels like dick and run the 30mm spacer but not extend anything if worst comes to worse

i also know that ******* hood vent needs molded into the hood. that **** loosens more than my baller *** oil caps i keep loosing.....

that sounds pretty nice, i wonder if George wants to try them bad boys out for next season. i really wasnt a fan of the fenders we were using last year. are yours vented Chance? we were hoping to run some un-vented for a change

if anyone needs paint work lmk! i will paint anything from subframes, engine bays, motorcycle parts, seat backs, wheels, suspension links, to aero, hoods, full car builds etc. i trade labor for parts or $$$$ all i want to do is cover my bills, and build my car for this season! thanks to everyone who has been getting work done lately - and happy new years!

I've been behind the scenes hanging out working - neglecting my build threads so here's an update to end 2011!

DSTROYR Hanging out for another season! Love their products, and am super pumped to have a 3rd season running their gear! Thanks for everything Jon @ DSTROYR!

Partnered up with Real World Solutions to campaign their tried and true Rotary Aviation 2mm Super Seal 13B-T Rebuild kit featuring their Race Spring Upgrade, and their O-ring kit. My last motor never skipped a beat and i know this new build will not either with Steve Singh's magic behind it.

Painted my business partners Limo.

letting the base dry before clearing it hence the patches.

Struggled with my $700 DeVilbiss gun the entire time - but got some good advice from Chance (slidealliance) that helped a bunch throughout it! thanks homie!

Signed up to paint my friends 800awhp Insanespeed built Evo for an upcoming spread ;p
He let me cop these for my efforts.

I'm needing to source another pair of rears to use with my Autosport Dynamics Hydraulic E-Brake.

i retired my Mazdaspeed wheel and grabbed a Nardi Deepcorn 350mm wheel from Ben/Rishie @ AutoRND

hopefully i can get some more work in to keep up with the build progress. if anyone needs anything painted please remember to price me out before deciding!
