Newer JIC's are a goldish color (like grade 8 bolts) with purple springs.
I cant remember if HKS were blue/red, or purple/redsprings.
when i sanded these down they were definitely anodized just faded.

i was just going to pick up $80 Ebay Camber plates and throw them together and take pictures, but the above pics are from 10mins ago. i still want to clearcoat the springs to help keep dirt from sticking.
i was thinking of spraying the coils with that mazora rainbow flake clearcoat, but it's expensive for my interests with them.

and yea, godspeeds are red/black, but there's a better model that are blue, with black springs im pretty sure, but that was for S13's i think

So did you decide on going 1J? or what's going on with engine choice?

still gathering research on it, and "acquiring" parts slowly. Can't afford to do it right now though.. aiming to screw with it some maybe mid summer. just shitty timing, and trying to stay realistic with everything.
my motor is still 90% good, and no one in vegas is trying to have a legitimate turbo motor, so i'm going to just throw a 35r, manifold, do the fuel system in -an's. get a wideband, and ecu setup.

most of the parts will be able to get tossed on a 1j so it'll be easier to go that route soon.

i get people talking in my ear swaying me left and right all the time out here, so we'll see what comes of it.

GT35R, and Ecu is going down right now for this season. JTP came to town, and i finally got to see a legitimate FC so i'm convinced it'll be the right choice.

Buckey, take off the nut on top of the shock body and pull everything out, then clean the seals and pour in some ATF. Put it back together! Yay!

Thanks for trying to help with Neukin on the manifold. i got one locally @ Ebay pricing (not neukin)
it is super close to the LIM so i have to see about getting the runners lengthened, and i want to switch the wastgate flange from the old HKS 4 bolt, to a tial vband setup.

T4 Flanged. ebay flanges, but made by a local shop for a friend of mine, and he ended up selling it due to picking up an HKS cast mani.

yea, you're right for sure, that's why i scooped it... i really wanted to snag Justin's T3 FullRace mani, but money situation sucks right now.

i do have to have it hacked up, and moved away from the LIM. right now it sits about 2 inches from the LIM. with a turbo on, the turbo will hit the water sleeve for the lower radiator hose/turbo water line.

Pics to show fitment...

Pulled the harness out to sell it, as well as the 550cc/720cc injectors to help fund the Haltech/Turbo setup

started ratchet strapping out my quarter panels, to get to the inner body skins that are folded/bent. drilled spot welds, and used a chisel, and hammer to help break them off when i couldnt get the drill in. i plan on hacking everything off, and running tubes to brace the piece i cut off of my other shell.

don't ever get caught up having too much fun line locking at a demo, and start missiling your car into krails!
lol we were all doing line locks *2ndgear* and i started doing donuts/left foot braking trying to pop my tires, and my friend ray was pointing at the krail. naturally, i let off the brakes, and forced it to spin super hard and BOOM! haha crowd all get pumped cause i almost popped the blow up doll. i wish there were video of it. it was the most funny/stupid end of the year celebration ever

i cant see the pics(blocked at work)

my bro had a similar manifold and he bought two more Divided T4 flanges and made a divided extension outta some kinda rectangular metal that was the perfect shape for the T4 flange

set the turbo away from the LIM and cleared the strut tower as well

If you really want to get crazy, you can cut a strip of mild steel and massage it to fit down the collector and block off the rotors from each other. Divided, not equal length..

If you're going to need to move the turbo flange anyway, it's probably worth doing.

You don't have the turbo yet? You can still get a T3 flange and weld it on that manifold if that's what you're in to.

i talked to forrest and he said he doesn't even want to mess with it...

this manifold is made for an "on center" turbo housing. i guess i'm just going to get flanges, and have him make another manifold or something... but for the same price if jtp has the FR t3 mani i'd be further ahead (and cheaper) to just buy it. should've just done that in the first place...
live and learn.

i do want one super far away from everything.. Justin's current manifold design looked rad on his car being away from the motor.

even though i'm missing teeth, and my mouth is bleeding thanks to the dentist (stupid wisdom teeth got pulled today)

i've been painting my manifolds in between sleep to get some progress made, and i think i'm into this color. i was going to polish it, but i've seen polished manifolds after they get dirty, and they get all scratched/worn looking.. so i went with paint.. maybe in the future ill do FD UIM and polish it.

i also bought all the stainless allen head bolts for the throttle cable bracket, blockoff plates and the stainless nuts for the intake studs along with an RB oil pressure filter pedestal.

i also paid for Forrest to make a more aggressive spindle design off of his Satoru Works Jig's he made-up. so once i get those, i'll post photos. the first designed ones were straight jig'd replicas from Satoru. he said he's going to look at it, and try to get more angle out of them.
i plan on extending the lower ball joints to add more static camber, and a wider front track width!

more photos soon!

i don't think they make any other styles, my Hyper D's look just like your picture as does their website link still with no mention of anodizing. the HKS camber plates are anodized purple also though.

for those of you rambling on about the divided manifold, with a 35R and the purpose the car is being built for a divided manifold isn't really necessary(assuming it is close to a 1.0 A/R turbine housing).

Ben i do need some help picking the exact turbo setup for my car still as i have pretty common luck with me picking the wrong stuff each and everytime.
would you be able to give any advice on a good setup? i'm pretty into the 35r. the powerband/power output of it is right in my ideal window. the only thing im lost on are the different A/R's, and the other misc technical variables of the 35r series...

i want between 380whp-450whp without really pushing the turbo/boost on max.

i scored a 60-1 to run in the mean time with this manifold above until i get everything finalized on the turbo setup. still need to get an ECU, and injectors. a fuel pump, and remake my Radiator/waterneck outlets into -AN's.
trying to make everything as universal/quick to remove as possible even though it's going to be $300 to run the hoses in -AN...

FASHION SHOWWW!
really contemplating painting my LIM, or just polishing it. it seems less intricate than the upper, and i think paint will get messed up pretty fast down there with the heat.
