RPF1's fit so good.
Pushing way too hard after i straightened anyways. bent the rear lateral rod as always, but i've become so familiar with repairing it that it took literally a minute, and i was back out on course.
i feel it's better to crash trying to progress, than to be scared and shooter line into ****.

i qual'd 9th. i believe there were only like 32/33 drivers total. most of which smashed in practice.

XDC practice.
not really any updates. my car is immensely battled, no sideskirts, no bumpers, mix-matched tail-lights. i've been drifting into walls, barriers, and dirt-offroading adventures since i no longer have use for it. surprisingly i've learned more this passed week of it being a missile car then i have all year.
the only thing planned for next year really is to save up enough money from now until january to start on the fresh chassis, and figure out what motor swap im going with..
i really want to hold true to my roots, and the car, and keep it rotary. i'm leaning towards an RE-W core, but am heavily surrounded by people pushing me to do the SR, or JZ swap....
it's about 80% chance its getting the 3rd gen motor, with power FC, and a 30-35r.
next year i just want to have a nice car, and when people hate on my driving, i know its on me, and not on my shitty *** car with no camber plates, and 240hp holding me back.
it would be sick to have power, and angle, and actually be able to have traction at the same time, and not compromise it for the illusion of power as i have been doing all year....

they do look sick and everything, but its not practical for me yet. they have more links you have to buy (which also can bend/break) and for now, im just going to missile out some FC's and hopefully one day get into an FD as a street car or something. the funds just arent there yet.
a friend of mine is running the RE in his vert locally, but have yet to see it run.
there are a lot of blown RE-W cores out here, which would be easy to come up on one. i don't know alot about the RE, so maybe i should check into before getting anything set in stone. i only have the money to throw at this once, so i hope it goes well. lol i've got a few months to save up, and sell my old parts so hopefully positive seat time will be on for 2011.

buy some S5 lights from me, so i can fund doing the LED **** like hypertek.
i modernize them for $100 (materials are $30) you cover shipping both ways.
or i sell them for $200
or give me your good core S5 lights and $100, and i ship you some the same day.
(i can make them however you prefer. open/clean/reseal, and keep all reflectors. only removed the tail deflectors, or remove all.)
i'm stocked up on them, so get some!

the outer ring will be lit while parking/headlights on
the middle portion will be red as a functional brake light, when the middle lights up the outer ring will turn off.
blinkers will be amber led arrows
reverse lights are blue and red strobes
the outer lens will be clear as well
i havent gone that far yet cause im still trying to finish 2 more rings and the middle portion. but **** will be dope.

Just a thought from looking at the pics from the events you've been to. It looks like you lose a decent amount of tail lights. Wouldn't it be wise to go with a cheap and easy option as opposed to custom LED tail lights?
