Bruce County Meet 2008 July 18-20
Well, my wife has done a lot to make this meet happen including making major plans for my boys (my avatar) that would disappoint them greatly if they were changed. Such as it is, bookings cannot be changed at this point to include me.
I plan on going ahead with the cruise tomorrow (Saturday) - the weather still looks good. I was toying with a mini-cruise for those who want to stick around on Sunday, but I didn't want to interfere with MOTM, plus it's looking a to be a wet day anyway.
So, the BBQ is hot, the rooms are cool and the beer is ice cold (for the evening).
I will only supply addresses, times and phone numbers to those who PM me as I don't want this info getting out to the general public.

Hey Brian, when were you planning to start the whole cruise thing, I skimmed over the thread and didn't catch it. Very slight chance I would be able to bring up the 323 GTX.
Well, despite small numbers, the cruise was excellent. The weather was perfect for cruising through the ski resorts, coastline, back roads, and especially at the beach. 29 degrees and sunny - made for some spectacular viewing!
There'll be some pics up soon I'm sure - Proctor was using his 'pervert' lens for some nice shots and Chris (possibly our newest convert to the rotary world) shot some nice video clips with my digital. I'll try and post that after some editing etc.
I'm game for a fall cruise: I hope to see more cars out for this one.
These cars were made for driving - and so are the roads of the BCM!

Good to hear everything went well!
The weekend was plagued with rain.
There were too many events happening on the same weekend.
I'll probably be able to make it in the Fall.

I'm definitally game for a fall meet. Even though we only had a few cars and I lost brakes for a brief minute, it was still a blast. I woudn't doubt it if Chris won't try and get an RX7. He seemed to be having a good time hanging his head out the window of my car getting those video clips. I also just wanted to put a thank you out to Brian and kevin for organizing the whole thing and for the hospitallity. I'll be looking forward to the next meet for sure.
definatly had a blast and also many thanks to Brian for the food and place to sleep at. I'll be in for the fall meet again most likely. I just hope that some of those videos with some of use passing on a double yellow line don't get on the interweb

Glad to hear that there's interest in a fall meet.
You'll have to let me know when you guys tear into the parts car. I'll swing by and give ya a hand. I've never tore a rotary down before so it'll be interesting to see all the little bits and pieces inside that make it tick.
