So is this a come up friday, stay over, cruise saturday and stay over again event?
Or is this just a sat/sunday event?

I've got to put on a bachelor party the weekend before, and I've got the wedding a week after, so this works out to be a good time (18-20).

As far as buying steaks...you're the one with the big *** paycheques coming in.

I guess we need to figure out how we want to do this as far as food is concerned. Eating out isn't a problem. (hold the jokes please).

I figured that we could eat out Friday night...maybe bar hop...Danny's via cab ride?

Saturday breakfast in Elmwood.

Lunch at the Rusty Gull in OwenSound or earlier in Meaford? BBQ Saturday night at my place. I could carry a large cooler in my car and we could stop at one of the bigger grocery stores in OS enroute and everyone could pick the steak of their choice. Or I could pick them up ahead of time.
Then there's the issue of beer and what everyone likes...

What's everyone's thoughts on this?

Beer has this specific criteria...

Cold
Wet
Have an Alcohol content above 0%
Not be Coors Light

If beer is free you can't complain, unless it's Coors Light.

that is the basic criteria, yes ^

don't worry about what people like if you are buying. just get whatever, if they complain you can point them to the appropriate establishment to BYOB.

Judging by your continued interest in this thread, and beer, I am making the assumption you are coming.

This is true, if people are thirsty enough they'll drink whatever you've got.

So what are people thinking as far as food is concerned? Buy it enroute and keep it in my cooler? If we do that, then we can spend 15 minutes at a grocery store in Owen Sound or some such place. You could also bring your own and leave it at my place. I just don't want a repeat of the 'beer run' that we did last time when we were going through Wiarton.

Nismo, did you get a chance to figure out '94 gas stops? Does Hepworth still carry it? Remember that we're going the opposite direction this time: ski resorts first, then the coast.

Thornbury is the closest as I can see, but we can make that part of the route.

Here is a map of the ONLY Station in the area near the cruise...

http://www.multimap.com/maps/?&t=l&map=44.56526,-80.45698|17|4&loc=CA:44.56526:-80.45698:17#map=44.56526,-80.45698|15|4&loc=CA:44.56526:-80.45698:17

Seems although all the places around no longer have Ultra 94:

This is really getting rediculous!!

I am willing to go to Goderich with some Jerry cans to fill up with, if you want me to get some for you, I ask that you tell me, and I will get about 100 liters or so, I just ask to be reimbursed.

I'm up for whatever as far as food is concerned. Making a stop at a store is fine, it'll give ya a chance to stretch your legs anyway.

Another vote for stopping at a grocery store and picking up our own food. I don't drink, so you don't have to worry about me on that side.

ALEXANDER KEITHS!!!! Kinda expensive though, but I;ll drink whatever as long as it's decent. Preferably not Laker. I have no problem bringing my own. I've just finished orientation at the new job and it seems they are very flexible on booking us out, so although it's still up in the air, I should be able to make it. I'll confirm later.

Looks like I will only be able to make the Friday night part of it if at all. My sis has decided to get engaged and have a party at my house on the 19th. I have been trying to get back to Bruce since the first year. Oh well.

Yeah 18-20th.

At this rate Bass will be riding shotgun in my car, as he lacks discipline, and his car is still in pieces, and so on.

Hey now! I've been working on in since before lunch today. I do have to take some time to destroy roast duck, bbq hotdogs, steak etc for your dinner, and watch after the boys too. Like you said, someday it's gonna be reversed. That's when I'll be laughing my *** off.
