well im still working on my turbo FB, its getting rebuilt this Sunday, so that gives me 2 weeks to re install all the parts and get a drive shaft made up, il be cutting it close but i think i can make it this year. if not.... il have to take my 96 jetta with the wing on the back and straight through exhaust system
well.. its all apart since DEC 2007 but im reassembling it this sunday with Aaron Cake
WOOT
i will be stock turbo with ceramic coated exhaust, street port, stock JDM ecu Volvo front mounted I/c. i have lots to work ahead of me and only 2 week time to do the work, and i work 6 days a week so its going to be hard but if all works out well $$ wise i should be ok!!

well, i did not notice i was missing oil control springs so that set me back 4 days, then 2 days of 14 hours work days leave me with one week to install an engine and get it running/broken in ish.... and in light of my friend getting pulled over for racing the other night after doing nothing but being beside a loser G6 car and cops pull his rx7 over for racing saying " i saw the whole thing that was street racing, u where doing at lease 80km there" friend just got his rx7 back from a rebuild and was doing 50km he got let off but, ya im not sure about the meet now. that's reason #1
reason #2 i don't think il be on the road by then. witch leaves me to reason #3 my future wife and I need time alone that the my engine is built
i hoped to make it out this year but looks like it will be next year, be sides il likely push the new engine to hard for its first 500Km on the meet. see you guy in the fall if we have a meet then or see you guys next year

did i skip a piece of the puzzle ... 'cause i can't seem to find where the route has been set. I know a couple years back it was starting from grand bend and went up ... but what's going in this time.
I just got back from a vacation in Quebec City. I've been gone and away from a computer since Wednesday. Sorry to hear that you won't make it this round dj55b.
It's just a few days before the meet. Let's get an updated list of those who are joining in the BCM and for which days/nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
At this point, Friday looks cloudy 26 C; Sunday is bone dry sunny and 23 C; Saturday...well...yeah... 26 C and wet. I'll be watching the weather for improvements.
I'm prepared to drive each and every one of those days. My place is available to all those interested starting Friday afternoon through to Sunday evening.
Please let me know who's coming and when so that I can better organize details, namely drinks, food and beds.
Same as last time, I have enough space for everyone.
For a refresher on how we celebrate BCM, check out the threads at the bottom of this one.

Sorry guys I won't be making it this time. Still waiting on new tires, and the first paycheck from the new job, and I'm going to need to work Sunday at least, maybe even Saturday. Hopefully next year. Have fun everyone.
Come on folks! It would be nice to know who IS and who ISN'T coming so that I can set up my house, BBQ etc.
I bought two more air conditioners for the bedrooms, so it'll be nice and cool!

Wow...free beer, ac, great cruise and very little response from those who said that they were coming. Sigh...well, the offer still stands...there's plenty of room at my place. PM me for details and a contact number.
OK...at this point, I'm wanting to scrap the whole thing! I've noticed from the post count that people are reading this thread but aren't bothering to reply to my simple request of letting me know if they are still coming. WTF?!?!?!
I've made arrangements with my family to have a brief holiday away from the house without me for the weekend, I've bought two more ac units because people complained about being too hot the last time they were here. I've done tonnes of things to get the house ready. My beef doesn't lay with those who have had the decency to let me know that they aren't able to attend - that I appreciate. What about those of you who have said earlier in this thread that you will be coming, and haven't bothered to confirm within the last couple of weeks?

People really don't know what goes into getting a meet/cruise together, and complain when there aren't enough in a year, it's not just lets go out and drive, it take planning, and coordination. It's even more challenging when you have to relocate family for a weekend.
Maybe I'll go to MOTM in my truck, because my RX7 was ment to be driven, and not sit in a parking lot.
damn, i tried it make it work but i can't make it this time guys. i didn't post because i didn't really know until now.
Bass is right, people should post whether it is yay or nay for them.
i live almost 8 hours away from this meet and i wouldn't be able to take my RX-7 this time, but i was still trying to get to this meet.
Please do go if you can, these guys put a lot of effort into organizing this, you won't be disappointed. those people who have said they could go should have no excuse not to.
