Funny you mention that.... I've been thinking about it. I have a 20b already. I was gonna put it in an FD. But I may build a short crank 3 rotor for that instead. I was thinking about selling my D series 20b to do that though... There alot I would have to change to put the 20b in my fc though. Not sure I wanna deal with that right now. I just want to drive the car. I already have everything I need to throw the car back together and get it running with the 13bt, not to mention the 13bt has already had the plates lapped and machined for the stud kit. I couldn't put the 20b in and run it stock either, don't have the turbos. My FC racelogic system wouldn't work with the 20b either. I already have a FD ready racelogic system that will support the 3 rotor. Too much is already set I think. Plus if I start trying to put a 20b in there I'll miss the Steve Kan tune for the 3rd time when he comes back here again.

I might just save the 20b for a test swap into my solstice before the innevitable LS7 swap.

I haven't driven any Solstice yet, and probably never will... The one on the showroom floor, with the seat all the way back and I hope with the wheel all the way up, was way to cramped for me to drive comfortably. The Sky on the other hand was much more comfortable oddly enough. But then again my logical/mathematical brain tells me 30k+ (+) Saturn = wtfnowai!

Yep. Thats why I bought the car. To strap on a bigger turbo and shoot for ~450+ rwhp, then rip out the engine and drop an LS7 in it and if I can get my hands on an LS9 I'll put one of those in it. The body will be staying stock, so it will be a sleeper. Except for maybe that silver around the windshield, I may have that color matched to the body.

There have been LSX swaps done to NA Solstices already.

Thats interesting. You must be a pretty big guy. I am myself and I fit snuggly in the Solstice but I still have some room left over. I sit with the seat about 95% all the way back but then I tilt the seatback back the rest of the way and I find it gives me extra room. The seats may have been setup that way on the sky you tested and not the solstice, because the dimensions for the insides of both are about the same.

Finished Gas Door & Fuel Cap Operation Video:

What do you guys think of that?

The car was towed to the upholstery shop yesterday.

Waiting for the tow truck:

Loading onto the truck:

So, we got the car all loaded up onto the truck and headed off. We go a couple blocks and the truck driver stops and I pull over behind him. He gets out of the truck and motions for me to come to the front of the truck bed. I get out and walk up to him wondering why he stopped. He has a disappointed look on his face and he points to the front of my car and says "look". He had left the tow hook attached to the tow cable under tension and when he took a couple corners the body shifted and the tow hook flexed and messed up some of the paint around the hole in the bumper. So then he decides to use straps in the appropriate locations instead.... These sorta hooks are fine for pulling a vehicle up onto a truck, but not for holding it in place where it can shift side to side. Thats what stock tie downs are for....

So that will need to be touched up after the upholstery shop is done.

I had the seats and carpet in my truck so I dropped everything off at the upholstery shop with the car. They rolled the car into a spot in their shop. After they look everything over on Monday they will give me a call and I should have an estimated completion date.

Yep, I'm excited! If everything goes without a hitch the car should be done at the upholstery shop in about 2 weeks. It really depends how long it takes to make the top. Once thats done the car will be hauled directly to the shop for the engine & suspension etc.

Yeah, it looks weird with the tiny stock donuts. Once the Work wheels are put on and the car is slammed and the holes in the bumpers are filled with the FTP's, smoked turns & ductwork it will all come together and look good. You just have to be able to visualize it in your head.

Of course a wide body car with wheels less than half of the size intended for the kit looks weird.

Nah. I inquired with an importer as to weather or not Ganador makes their LED Super Mirrors for the FC. Unfortunately it is only for the FD, they only have a non LED version for the FC. So I made my own LED mirrors out of stock S5 aero mirrors. I think I posted some prototype pictures a few pages back. I'll be working on a second set of mirrors with a different LED setup as well. But for now I have a set like the prototypes I posted before. The mirror shells have been painted and finished. I just need to install the LEDs and mirrors back into them..

Yeah I know it's a large time frame. But it's getting closer! The LSX won't be going into the solstice for a while. We're still working out kinks with the stock engine and GT30R.

At some point, probably once the engine is in and the car is able to power itself, I will throw the wheels back on and take some pics.

I installed the LED strip in the Tamon spoiler. The results are great! I'll take pics of that tomorrow since my camera is outside in my truck and I don't feel like getting it at the moment.

*edit*
I should really update my sig pic.
