Not that it matters, but Dave's correct the tow hooks will get marked regardless of what you put on them for a coating.............if a hook's used to pull the car. Best suggestion to avoid it was the tow strap as mentioned, or simply wrapping an old rag around the hook before you clip the tow cable's hook to it.

Anodizing by nature can't scratch. But aluminum is so easy to marr it would be impossible to avoid in this case unless you soften the blow with a strap, or a cloth of some sort - end of discussion man, leave it be.

For some reason you have had it out for me talking mad **** EVERY time I speak you have some smart *** bullshit reply and to be quite honest I dont take kindly to it, bet you wouldnt talk so much **** in person dude, bet a million on it.

Now for the relevant information, hard and regular anodizing, REGARDLESS of your wrench monkey *** turning AN fitting self or not DOES NOT SCRATCH, now if you are referring to scratching MATERIAL completely off that is an ENTIRELY different story and one I covered if you used your eyeballs and READ what I said earlier.

Powder VS Anodizing, powder is a COATING and can be scratched off anodizing is a molecular process that bonds color and material TO the original prepared aluminum which CAN NOT BE SCRATCHED OFF.

Anodizing, or anodising, is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts.

Anodization changes the microscopic texture of the surface and can change the crystal structure of the metal near the surface.

Talk to ANY anodizer and they will explain this to you in infinite detail, which I have done and also have spoken to MANY MANY people that are much smarter than you and I about this at length, hours upon hours reading and yes turning my OWN ******* wrenches on powder, anodizing, clearing, polishing, you name it if it has covered or changed a metal surface in relation to a Car, a Computer or a Home I have probably touched it and dealt with it.

As for your apparent personal issue with responding in some catty *** shitty way EVERY time I speak TO JUICE by the way stop, if you want to be a ******** do it in PRIVATE to me privately, period.

Or not....

First stick I drove was a Ferrari Testerossa (I was 14), and have raced many cars since. Including an 800hp jeep on a frozen lake, so I'd refrain from the **** talkin to people you don't know. I said I liked it, I just like subtle more, no reason to be a dick about it. I'm just sayin I'd rather have mine, especially when i'm done with it.

On the next episode of "As the Rotor Turns," Juice discovers his long lost twin who is also building a widebody vert FC when they both run into each other at the same upholstery shop and tensions flare up between RX-Heven, Trust7, SouthSideSlider, and Tyler [S5 FC] and a massive racing battle for bragging rights breaks out on the circuit of Laguna Seca. Find out how it all goes down on the next "As the Rotor Turns."

Yeah too much detail and all that wideness will result in lots of aerodynamic drag lol JK!

Haha, very nice!

Wasn't tryin to be defensive. Just pisses me off when I try to just throw out my opinion, and some deusche bag has to come out and **** talk everything. It doesn't bother me, just makes me not want to say anything on here sometimes, anyways, back to the purpose of this thread, post some pics, curious what she looks like now!

There is an easy fix for increased drag. It is increased Boost!

I know how you feel. I can't tell you how many times I've typed out responses to threads and then just said "**** it" deleted my would be response and moved on to the next thread.

The car is done at the body shop! I was there friday but the body shop owner didn't want me to take pictures because the car was dirty. He is taking today to clean it up and get it ready for the tow truck. I will be stopping by the shop a little later today to take pictures and pickup some stuff. Tomorrow we tow her off to the upholstery shop!!

Pics later when I get home!

*edit*
Oh, and please stop the E-fighting or I WILL post another group hug picture!

Well, I spoke too soon. LoL. The body shop owner wants to keep the car for another day or two to go over everything. There have been a bunch of little things he wanted to address and they have taken a little more time than anticipated. He doesn't want to give me the car back with any imperfections and I'm fine with that. It's not costing me extra so I can't complain. The car was up on a lift so the lower portion of the body could be closely inspected when I got to the shop at the end of the day. I had them bring the lift down for a few pics.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the hood is not completely closed in these pics. The hood pins are closed and the hood latch is partially closed. I need to get a weaker spring so the hood can close easier with the lightweight FG hood. Gotta use a little more force than I'd like to get it to close completley with the stock spring.
