I run two 25 row Earl's Performance oil coolers (running in series) with 180 deg thermostat, everything I bought from Summit Racing.

My oil pressure is 90psi+ under load at all times, but my temps were terrible last year due to the front mount and horrible radiator setup which I did during the original swap. This year, even though I kept the front mount, I have moved the radiator more up front, fitted a ford Taurus fan and a high output 150amp FD alternator, also switched to a vented hood which I cut out even more (I might also add a fan or two to the oil coolers as well).

The car just got finished being dyno'd by Defined Autoworks yesterday, and the temps looked great… but this doesn’t mean it won’t overheat while drifting, so I can’t give you a good answer until I hit the track sometime in June. I will post the dyno results and a video of it later on today.

Thanks everyone for all your support!

Defined Autoworks exceeded my expectations in building the exhaust manifold and putting together this single turbo setup. I made more power then I was planning to, and I actually asked them to run even safer AFRs (10.8), in order to reduce power since I was going to break 500rwhp.

I know I will get asked this so let me explain why I only wanted 400rwhp at the beginning:
- engine has never been rebuilt (wanted reliability)
- more power will increase the chance to breaking the transmission/differential/axles
- more power = more heating issues
- more power is more money in terms of tire width and tire/time ratio

The end results were: 475rwhp & 430ft-lbs tq @ 14psi

Good to see you made it home in the rain of the century yesterday. Im happy we could work on the car. Can't wait to see this beast punishing some tires in person.

We will also send you that 4in pipe to move the air filter off the water hose.

You can always ship your car to them like this guy from California who shipped his 911 Porsche to have a 20B turbo put in and tuned to over 600rwhp

Also, here is the dyno video of my FC by Defined Autoworks:

Lol I wish... actually I still have significant turbo lag believe it or not. I know the front mount doesn't help for that, but the main reason is because we are running a 13psi spring and we were not able to use the boost controller. What I plan on doing next is get a smaller spring and add the boost controller back so I can bring the torque curve closer to 3k rpm.

Here are a few run I had first time out with all of this power... I didn't get the car dialed in the way I wanted to... first time with a full cage, no rear sway bar, and all that power with too skinny tires... still need a few more practices to fully get used to it.

The car didn't feel as good as I wanted in terms of traction and balance, I didn't feel comfortable pushing it more and when I did I spun haha... I honestly didn't have the traction for that kind of power so I hope to have that sorted out for the next even.

I finally got knuckles for the first time in 5 years of drifting this car... I have to say it took me a couple of events (after much fail) to get used to it... and I still have a lot to learn, but I put a small video together from the last practice this year, so let me know what you think
