Finally got time to mess with my 7, the tune you sent seems to be working well. Got the car running and idling well......kinda. she runs for about 30 minutes and then dies. Restart and immediately dies. Handheld shows a rpm noise fault so i was inspecting my tach signal and my hand hit my igniter. Instant burn. My igniter is mounted on the driver side of the engine behind the strut tower. Ill be replacing plug wires, igniter, and building a better heat sink then see how it goes. Thanks again for the tune.

no worries, man! I also improved the tune from back then but yours should still be a nice base to work with. Upgrade your ignition as much as possible and you'll see good results.
BTW I'm making a new video about the intake manifold and probably since we have the virus problem here in Italy I wouldn't be able to test it again on the dyno this month. Anyway, it's so difficult to keep a reliable idle that I probably will switch back to the holley style manifold very soon..

Great work on this! You definitely have helped us out tremendously. Do you have any new updates?

unfortunately, being in italy, the covid19 situation has been quite heavy, so I couldn't do much, but I manage to help a couple of guys with their fitech conversions (@drifteron on Instagram did a turbo 13b miata with fitech efi) and about my big intake manifold project... long story short I wanted to make a good youtube video but in the middle of it I realized that the long manifold really didn't work. I made all the parts, converted it, did lots of of testing, actuators for the ports, but it ran ok only at WOT, and during normal driving was unusable, so I already converted back to the old "holley" manifold. Right now I don't have much time to complete the video but I will probably do at least a proper update here in June for the sake of keeping track of the work. on Instagram (@dario_morelli_design) I posted few smaller updates in the past months. I hope you this virus thing will finish soon because otherwise my poor mazda will rot away in the parking lot! 😅

I came across a 600hp Fitech for cheap on the market place, but reading this I am hesitant to put it on a stock 13B. Might save it for another engine.
