I'm digging the logo on the rad, did you come up with that yourself?

Where did you get the license plate from?
Also I'm just curious, but did you manage to get the Shakensho when you bought the vehicle in 2009?

Japanese cars always come with a bundle of interesting paperwork. I was just wondering if your PO managed to hold on to it from Japan or not.

Your license plate is really rare and interesting actually. It's pre 1998, which could be correct for the year, but the vehicle class is registered to either 3 wheeled vehicles or as an overflow class for compact cars between 600-2000cc. The RX7 doesn't qualify for that class however because it's 16mm too wide. We are considered "heavy passenger cars." and have to pay more taxes. The Kanji is from Kobe, and this overflow class was used a lot there so it's most likely from a typical 90's Japanese car like a Civic or something.

Yep. Shaken is the inspection and registration process, the Shakensho is the certificate of the registration like a title that you get when you buy the car and you don't necessarily have to get it done. If the car is less than 4 years old, or a kei car, it isn't necessary. I was just wondering if they kept the shakensho or threw it away.

what I did when I was using the stock LIM is use the little rubber part that is on top as a seal, I think I made a thread discussing it since there wasn't a whole lot of info out there.
