headlights wil be repositioning and the shape were the lexan covers fall into wil be removed.
i don't like the lexan covers , i love the Carbon fiber
and also for dust and other dirt that can fly into from behind the headlights i don't think it's an option to remove the lexan covers always to clean it.
also the possibility for moisture condensation on the inside side from the lexan covers like when washing the car in the sun or so.

there are a few reasons for removing the covers in my opinion

You can see the carbon fiber through the Lexan yes? You can seal the lexan cover with silicone sealant etc. Interested to see how it turns out without the lexan though!

A thought for you (your car is amazing BTW): 1) use the lexan covers but screw them down instead of sealing them. 2) use a rubber gasket under the lexan so water/condensation cannot enter. 3) finally, paint the outside edge of the lexan to match the color of your car so it will hide the edges of your hood.

Do this and it will look OEM and clean.

david : it is a thought yes but there is stil the backside were the hella's fit into were there are spaces were dirt and dust can get inside then.
i'm almost 100% sure i'm not gonna use them
also 1 of the reasons i was forgot is technical control here in belgium
it can be hard about details and they will fall over the lexan covers because there is no E-mark in it and it can interfear the lightvieuw (sorry for the bad english again )

nyboosted7 : i gotta be honest ... it's not genuine so i had a little bit of fitting issues with the front fenders

I would say keep the red a dark red and it will look great. If the red is too bright, the two tone red/black makes it look too "clown-like" imo.

it's not polished :p it's powdercoated in 'chroomlook'
it was cheaper and easy to keep it clean.

I agree, I would be careful with Spectre filters. I've heard a few horror stories about them.

I'm sure it's going to be fine. Just keep looking for better alternatives for later on down the road.
