RENESISFD's Robust Build: Powered by Pepperoni Pizza and Chikken Nuggets
on another note, Engine bay is looking boss! how did you secure your had lines under the car? i used some block poly that i drilled holes in and cut tapered slots into it to allow the hardlines to easilly clip in but not come out. that with a hole in the middle vertically to bolt them to the original mounts(not sure if this is enough to paint a mental picture pm if you want a drawing to borrow/improve the idea)

Thanks mang
So is yours, I saw a pic of it on facebook. Thanks
The issue a couple of the time attack guys here have had is the pre-mix not being 100% miscilbe with the E85 and a certain ingredient/component seperating and blocking the really fine mesh strainers in the injectors.

I just cut the stock plastic mounts to make room for the larger tubing. I do like your idea better as it sounds like a cleaner solution. For now what I have should be fine.
It is my understanding there are only a few oils that are compatable with Ethanol. I will be using castrol benol. Do you know what oil they were using?

Then he couldn't make more hard lines! I'd rather have clear lines to the OMP personally, so you can see it's working properly.

^ This

I think it is never a good idea to delete an OMP, Due to a lack of lubrication when the TPS is at 0%.
No update in 2 weeks because no progress in 2 weeks. I ended up driving my DD to DGRR.
I have some wiring to do and some finish plumbing and to come up with a better solution to get air out of the cooling system and then I should be ready to start the car. I guess like 3 weeks or so.
^ I know how you feel man. I'm at that point in my project. I tried to fire her up tonight....just stumbles and tries to idle. blah blah blah, don't feel like trouble shooting tonight.

There was a fc 20b build where someone performed tests on a bunch of oils. Will see what I can find.

Others have said Redline synthetic racing 2T works well, Castrol R30 and shell racing M is good.
there was a thread with tests on AusRotary.com • Index page john, a guy did tests in glass jars i think.
Pulled this from the Maxima Oils site:
Not intended for use in oil injection systems. When blending with alcohol it normally requires more oil. Care must be exercised when blending with low specific gravity (below 0.730) race gasoline or aviation fuels and in temperatures below 35ºF as separation may occur. Separation may also occur in alcohol containing a high percentage of nitromethane. Check before using.
I've used Maxima's 927 with US 93 and 94 octane pump gas for years with good success in two-strokes. Known many people to use it with aviation fuel with no ill effects, though that was well above 35 degrees F. Wonder what type of gas the referenced tests were using.
