Small update...
I had my LIM resurfaced after it was welded to make sure the mating surfaces are true and flat. As I suspected the faces were way out of wack. I should not have any boost leaks. I also powdercoated it black.
I should have a TON of progress in the next coming weeks.
The cap was removed after the pic was taken.

^ Heres some more progress.
I installed my injectors 4 ID2000 secondaries and 2 ID1000 primaries and the FFE rails.

I also Partially installed the LIM and the turbo manifold.

Here are the Stage 8 locking nuts. I love these things. So easy to use and they will not gall up the studs like the stock nuts do. Plus they are reusable.

I will get more done tomorrow and will install the block by this weekend. I want to get the car running my mid to late march.

Hah sounds good man I really hope you get it all sorted out before the DGRR , And I'm still waiting on that vid of the first start up with tears and all!
Just went through this whole thread (albeit a little late), but reading through this was not in vein. Excellent build! This FD has been through quite a change. Keep it up, I'll be here for the rest of the ride

Thanks Aaron.
Which spacer are you referring to? The ones tat extend the injector height or the ones that space the rail a the correct height off of the block?
I have not run E-85 yet so I will see. I would think using premix in the fuel would help keep the injector from sticking.
Thanks
Yes, yes I am. There is a short list of things I wouldn't do for a Wiggins clamp

Worked on the EWP and the alternator mount today. I just need to clean up some of the edges and powder coat it black and it is done.
Matt welding.

One small touch I am doing is keeping the ferrules bare aluminum. This is to keep the bonding strap from scratching the paint and to keep the ground loop intact.
