My 1993 R1 build thread!
Sorry on a holiday I am relaxing with my family... Tom, he is pissed I was eating easter eggs all day instead of working on the car! this weekend I will be working on the car ok papa. relax.
Tom, right now I am not planning on selling! I am trying to get it done, but with the car not being at my house its hard to work on it you know, and jason works in whitestone so he can easily get to the cars.
Yes he talks a lot or GARB for someone whos car is still in pieces! so lets see who's car gets done first!

Haha yeah man still got it, its actually almost been a year now that this thing has been down. and last year was dead, only went out to the rx7 vs supra meet and then to ARP shop opening and that was it
soon it will be out... soon... this year I hope...
after putting in all the electrical and barely fitting all the wiring into the pillar I turn the power on and BAM I wired the **** wrong. I wired the new boost controller to a wrong fuse which only turns on when the lights are on. so I needed to take it out again and run it the right way.
I had to pretty much chop the hell out of my pillar to get the wires tucked away nicely.

After getting it all done and wired and tested. I turn the car over, bam still starts right up, rough idle singe its not tuned. but the car is ready for my next steps.
step 1) street tune so it can be drivable on the spring.
step 2) get new brakes on, new fuel pump dropped in, lowering springs put on and fix the nasty oil leak I got under the car.
step 3) go get a real tune. I want to do step 2 so I can be sure that everything is in order and not have any failures while tuning. still up in the air on where to tune now. =(

Your standing next to your own car... not my problem your car is slow, you should have came and stood by my car instead.
Once its done. and drivable. or at least cruisable. lol.
finally got time to put on the new exhaust I got off of Theorie. Been sitting around for a while now. Took me longer to find a damn hex key for the bolt to put the bracket on than it did to get the exhaust on, but I got it on, turned it over and man does it sound good. can't wait to hear it open up once I get a tune.

The new goodies I ordered just arrived this week from Shine... New Carbon 1 piece 99 spec front lip, Carbon low profile wing and undertray.

Had them set up the way a mans kitchen table should look like... full of car parts.

But that did not last too long and my girl made me take that stuff to the garage... so now they lay with all the other parts that wait to get put on! hopefully they don't sit there forever, but I foresee them laying in this carbon purgatory for a while

What front lip is that under the bumper? The one that is not packaged.
