Kilo Racing 3 Rotor FD Conversion
After your 'FD Community' thread went off kilter, I guess you're ready for the loony bin, huh?
Let's just hope Mr. Hayes doesn't need to join us...
^Guessed I missed that enlightening thread.
Plans are now set to fly in next Tuesday to inspect the car. The car will then be tuned by George on the 30th (Thursday not Wednesday as previously posted) and we'll hit the road for FL shortly thereafter.

Hayes - Better have yourself prepared with both a camera and video recorder. We're all going to be demanding immediate posts upon driving that beast.
GMONSEN - I completely agree with you concerning the posting (even though I am a hip hop fan). I've been a member for years and am on here every day; but you'd never know it by my post count. I usually refrain from posting simply because of the b.s. that goes on.
Sorry for continuing this thread to go off track.

Dave I've got my fingers crossed for you. Please keep us up to date. I'll be looking for updates. Maybe when this project is completed we can renew the watch for JimLabs project.
Oh. And wishing you luck, David. I was down there a couple Fridays ago for tuning. Looks nice. I was surpised how different it sounded than mine when they were moving it. I wish I could have heard it with the e-cut out open and at WOT. :-)

The car has been moved from the shop to a secure location waiting my arrival.

Good luck. I hope the tuning and the drive home go off without a hitch.
But in the case that something goes awry, I volunteer my truck & enclosed trailer in order to combat the nutria rats to securely transport your supercar to either your home or back to the shop.
Of course the nutria rat was when you were meeting in Nawlins (IIRC), so driving straight back, I'm not sure you'll be driving the nutria rat terrority. But then again, I think you'll take I-10, which will go through LA. Not sure if it's a nutria minefield in the whole state or not.
Maybe you can have the shop quickly fab you a small cow-catcher type device, a nutria-catcher.
no, the car is actually sitting in front of my house. To make a long story short, the landlord is trying to pull a fast one on me so in order to protect david's investment, I moved his car out of the shop and into my house while I'm still dealing with my landlord and moving all my stuff out at the same time into a new location.
I'd be scared as hell leaving that thing sit out overnight. But a smart move considering the landlord situation. I'd probably sleep in a sleeping bag on a cot right next to the car.

Yes. I leave for Dallas on Tuesday. My father-in-law is going with me for the drive back to Jacksonville. We'll check out the car on Tuesday and then see George on Thursday for the tuning session. The plan is to drive back to Jacksonville in two days. It's a 1,000 mile trip.
He likes too drive fast and too close to the car in front of him so I will spend my non-driving hours in fear, coaxing him to back off the guy in front of us. I think I'll need the mental break
