Kilo Racing 3 Rotor FD Conversion
Well, after 4 years, 228,000 views and over 2,300 posts, I am now scheduled to show up at Gotham Racing on August 4th to do a final run thru and inspection of the car. Gotham has indicated they'll have the car ready to go, with all issues resolved and down to detailing it also. Looking forward to walking into the shop and seeing the car finished and gleaming in the hot Dallas sun
Great news David!

That's great news David. How did hey end up resolving the ignition breakup at high boost?

20b in not *** hard as you thing.
looks like moneymaker needs another way to make money now
Apparently installing a 20b is easy, it's spelling that's the hard part. Someone get that boy an English class or something. Maybe we should take up a correction collection
and send him back to school.
Modify it to be a 20b helicopter!! Shouldnt take more than a week! (depending on the availability of M4/M8 Bolts and nuts of course!)
I don't want to prematurely congratulate you and jinx it David, but I hope it goes well this time.
I personally would feel enormous pressure to have to enjoy the hell out of the car enough to justify all the hassle, but I'd still gladly have such "problems."

I cant say congrats yet, I will need pics of you driving away in the car before I can say congrats
J/K Glad it is coming to an end, soon you will laugh about this situation, however, your wife will probably never crack a smile when thinking about it.

David this hurts, the end of the day of work and the first thing I do is log onto this site to see the update on your saga (RIGHT A BOOK) and there is nothing. I'm hoping this is not a bad thing.
Well, usually no new news is good right? Not exactly in this case.
The good news is the car is much improved from my last visit to Gotham. Kudos to the guys for taking care of my long punch list. I got to drive the car and the tune is pretty spot on - no found "holes" in the map with the exception of a long hot start. All of my other fit and finish punch list items were taken care also.
The bad news? As I drove the car I kept saying "this feels lacking, only like 400 HP instead of the 650 dyno you did". Well, turns out it was accurate as my brand new Precision PT 78mm GTS dual ball-bearing turbo has a bad shaft and thus must be replaced/repaired. Gotham shipped it out today and we're looking at a possible two week delay.
On the good news side, the car looks great and I got to spend some quality time with "my other woman". Hopefully someday soon she'll come home with me
