So far in: Holly Secondary spring kit. This will hopefully stop the carb from falling flat on its face at 6200ish rpm.

Well, my odometer rolled over finally while on my way to the Gorges meet Saturday. I have a brand new car. Excuse the fuzzy pic, it was hard to tell if I even got it. Note the stuck speedo.

 

Oh yeah, I also logged 25 mpg on this trip. First long trip with the electric fan and using the vacuum advance.

 

Kent, I'd like to do that. I'll see what the plans are for me on Friday.

Got my tires in today! You know what that means...

Where you source them and how much per tire?

Is that a smoke screen to fool the cops

 

Total was $227.74 shipped to my door. Ordered them Friday morning, got them when I came home today during lunch.

Got them at www.tirerack.com . I wanted to go staggered and get 215's in the rear, but got talked out of it.


And I have not sourced a Windshield Washer bottle yet... Smoke screen yet to come.

 

Oh, tires were 47$ per. Beats the $83 dollar Proxie4's I wanted to get, but then I would need 600$ for rims

 

So those are the 205/60R13 summer tires? I think thats what I'll get too. Can't beat that price. Now I have to get working on my extra waffles and do some resto on them so I can have the new tires mounted in them.

 

Hey Tim. I have an extra set of + wheels that would go great with those tires. I finally upgraded my plug wires over the weekend. Total cost..........Less than $30 bucks! So Stu. When you going to come up and let me tune those secondarys on that Holley? BTW. Nice burn out!

 

I don't like plus wheels, waffles for me all the way. I have a spare waffle set I bought a couple of years ago that I want to refurbish and put the new tires on.
