What's garbage?
What's garbage?
I want to simplify and clean up the engine bay. I also want to eliminate variables to make trouble-shooting easier and get rid of future potential problems. I'm switching to non-sequential, but what else can be removed, that is, useless crap. I think whoever dsigned the FD made it to complex and also difficult to troubleshoot. I know like the EGR valve, air pump and ACV, AST (going with Evans coolant), anything else? What about the charcoal canister, fuel pressure dampner, anything that can go, I want it gone.

Take out the rotors. Hahahaha. Relocate your battery and switch to flush mount lights will clean up a little of the engine bay.

Well the charcoal canister is in front of the gas tank, that won't help you much in the bay other than the removing the purge control solenoid behind the alternator and the catch tank under the elbow. Plus it'll hinder gas mileage to take it out.
You can move relays, get rid of the ABS, and take the idle pulley bracket off along with the AC and PS if you really want to. That'll clean up the entire driver's side.

I figured as much ... I'm originally from Texas, too.
You could still take the PS pump out of that setup, though.
