What type of oil?

hey i have checked it out and heard good things about the KN oil filter. But what type and weight oil do you guys use?
This is for a daily driver not a track car.

You may want to just do a search and read through the thousands of results first, it will help avoid the flames that I'm sure are on the the way for asking a question that is often asked.

AFAIK, what type of oil you use, and what type of filter you use doesn't matter nearly so much as simply changing both very often. FWIW, I have come to think that 5W-30 is probably the best way to go.
