Autometer oil pressure gauge

I have an 85 gs with 12a in it. My oil pressure gauge stopped working. I am tring to install an autometer gauge. What type of adapter do i use to attach the oil vacuum line to the block. The fitting that comes with the gauge wont thread into block, i think its because it is a npt fitting. So if anyone 8ne can guide me in the direction to go. Thanks.

The oil threads on the block are 1/8 BPST, British Pipe. A hydraulic will have an adapter to make that 1/8" NPT.

Sounds like you are installing a mechanical gauge. Remember that if you are going to plumb an oil line into the cabin, you need to use an isolator. Otherwise when that line pops off the back of the gauge hot oil will spray everywhere under your dash. Or just use an electrical gauge.

a fitting kit from your F.L.A.P.S. should have one adapter included in the assortment
