Question Street Porting

Hey I was wondering ABOUT how much would it cost to street port a standard 13B-REW motor? Considering that the motor is in fine running condition, etc.

It's a $300-$400 "option" that is "added" to the cost of a rebuild ...you would allready be doing. It is not something that is done on a working engine.

if your going to port the rotor housings, your going to need to break the entire engine apart. and while your at it, you might as well replace the seals.

If you're pulling it apart to do the street port, why not clean it up a bit?

Look for someone local in your area to do it. It'll save you money on shipping those damn housings to atkins and back to you. I'm planning on rebuilding an engine soon to and this is the way I'm going.
