Silicone itself is naturally either translucent or opaque in is natural form. So the answer is yes it is possible. The problems are.

#1 It will be expensive. We as manufactures add chemicals to better help resist heat aging and other physical requirements. These chemicals have a color to them, so we would need to alternates.

#2 It wont be clear. It will be milky in appearance.

#3 it will get ugly. If you have ANY amount of fuel or oil vapors inside the lines the silicone will start to turn brown within a few days or weeks.

Hope this helps!

Actually, after about 2-3 years they still look pretty good...not at all yellow. Although I did notice that my buddies clear silicone hoses he just installed are slightly harder than mine...I guess they soften up a bit after a while from the heat.

Edit: Dr. silicone is right that it isn't perfectly clear , but milky clear

Harder and not turning colors makes me think that they are not silicone. Does it look like say fish pump air line? That stuff is super clear and not translucent. However it is not silicone either. I would be interested in finding some clear silicone vacuum hoses. Somebody said Tripoint carries them? Maybe I will buy a few feet to see what they are getting there.

Dr. Silicone AND Viton...

you guys crack me up!

I got mine resonable cheap from mcmaster.com. They are milky clear. As for discoloration, since you should not be using silicon where it is exposed to fuel/oil, being able to see when it is contaminated is a good sign that it needs to replaced with something besides silicon.

Tri-Point installed them on my car as well when my car had a hose job done. And yes, they are milky in color.

I know that our full kits have 40Ft 3.5MM, 16Ft 4MM, 10Ft 6MM, and 4Ft of 8MM. I am not sure if that is the same kit you are looking for.

I have some milky silicon lines I am using for the switch on my water injection. I got it at the local hobby store, it is R/C airplane fuel line. I have had it in there for almost 2 years and only the outside is dirty, no yellowing or hardening.

I use Baker Precision's hoses. I like them a lot and would recommend them.

Same...except instead of getting hard over the years, mine actually got a bit softer.
