Lately when I crank my car I am experiencing a plethra of white smoke. It started out to be just a little bit but now it is gettin to be a lot. At first it would somke for like 10 secinds, now it smokes for around a minute or so. It smells like gas, and there is no oil coming out the back that I know of, but I do have a little black spots behind the car. Also the car sometimes has trouble cranking up slightly, it always cranks, sometimes it just starts up and then turns off, but starts up on the next try. Also I hear a wierd noise that sounds like liquid coming from the right side of the car. Also if I put the car in neutral and rev it up it dies sometimes. Another thing it that when it is hot and I crank the car and warm it up, when I start driving it and it idles a lot it shuts off sometimes goin down the road. I have a lot of problems, I am screwed.

 

uh oh...make sure the map censor is hooked up...doubt its that. change the plugs. get a compression test done. good luck.

 

Coolant seals are probablly shot, making the white smoke out the exhaust. Best of luck to you.

-gurgling sound from heater core

Wow I just realized you are the dude with the pink FD. Man have you had a lot of problems lately! You should have bought a different one

do a compression test... does the smoke come out every time you crank the car even when it's cold. OR only happens when cold start up..??

 

I got a compression test and everything was good for original stock motor. The liquid sound is def coming from heater core area. It smokes everytime I crank the car.

Yeah, you're right. I think its gone. I mean it runs fine after it is cranked and everything, and it doesn't overheat, I thought that was wierd. Should I keep driving it or what? And would blown seals make you lose a lot of power, because the car feels almost slow.
