Smell Of Gas And ............
I was on my way to the mall and pulled in the space and notice that i smelled a lil hint of gas i got out the car and sniffed around it and found that it was comming from the engine bay i then closed the hood and went into the store when i came back i notice that i could smell it in the inside of the car, i put on my heater at full blast and drove off went to the gas staion about 4 miles away and checked the engine bay and NOTHING what gives can anybody help, oh yea i got home and didnt smell any gas fumes.
thats exactly what happened to me when my fpd went out. replace it, pronto!!! go ahead and clean both sets of injectors also. upgrade the 2ndaries if your ecu will allow it. itll knock everything out that can be the culprit. there are other things you can do while youre in there.

Nope, don't upgrade your secondaries unless you need to. However, changing the FPD can be a pain if you've never worked on an FD in that area before.
Since you are in the fuel area, people usually go ahead and pull their injectors, have them cleaned by places like RC Engineering: http://www.rceng.com/service.htm
*IF* you are going to pull your injectors, make sure to purchase new O-Rings for the re-install.

To add to the o-ring replacement for your injectors. You will see that they are thin add if not lubricated they tend to want to roll when you install the injectors. You have to lightly lubericate the o-rings with a NON-petroleum based grease (pet will decompose rubber).
