Rotory & Nitrous?

Would it be ok for me to have a 25 shot on a street ported, up-graded twin turbo motor. I heard it helps turbo and supercharged cars. True?

yeah i know somebody that is running 100hp shot of nitrous but they have everything done to the engine from 3mm seals to drag street ported and an upgraded single turbo, he is pushing 575hp on the dyno without nitrous. so yeah i think just the 25 shot would be ok but as soon as you hit the nitrous button your car instantly goes lean because you are getting the oxide in your engine so if you have a fuel computer or bigger injectors it will help quite a bit with the nitrous......hope i helped a bit

I have a friend who has been running a stock NS turbo engine with street port with a 50HP shot of NOS for about three years. As long as you add enough fuel and take out some timing, it will be OK.

This is the biggest waste of bandwidth I have read in a while outside the lounge. You have no clue what you're talking about, and what you just posted is a complete lie.

Yes, 25 shot could be fine. What other fuel modifcations would be involved?

Nitros is a wast of $$$$$. Spend the cash on getting it pro tuned. If all you are looking for is 25hp at the tuch of a button your risking alot for something that needs to be refiled, a good tuner can give you that and it will always be there with a healthier running motor. Do a search on NOS and you will see more people will tell you the for the cost its not worth it , and the rotory doesnt bennifit much from NOS.

The ol saying "bottels are for babies" build a real motor that will last its nothing like The Fast and the Furious.

Uh huh.
How do you account for the countless NHRA champions successfully running nitrous oxide?
How much experience do you personally have tuning nitrous? (I will test you on this)
Your post is not only filled with lies, but childish spelling mistakes. Benefits, maybe? and what the hell is a rotory? or a bottel? Do you really expect us to take you seriously?

Seriously, man, you got no clue when it comes to "nitros"[sic.], so keep your nescient-minded opinions to yourself.

I really wouldn't bother with it if its only 25 shot. For the price of the nitrous kit you could get some bolt on stuff that would probably get you that gain.

You also have to consider the other things you'll have to get to run the nitrous. If you have to retard the timing some how. I was told the only way to do this well is a stand alone. Then if you have a wet kit you should upgrade your fuel pump. If you have a dry kit you'll have to find a way to add more fuel; which may involve bigger injectors + standalone, or at the very least an Apex'i AFC. In the end you would ahve spent a big chunk of $$$$ on 25 horses.

What are ur current mods anyways?

Its stupid **** comments like this that bug me. Its like a witch hunt except instead of crying witch you guys cry "F&F" or "Ricer." Just becasue one wants N2o doesn't mean its becasue of F&F. Remember N2o has been around for a long time, much longer then F&F. Nitrous in cars started way back in the 70s.

This is why I made the reply about the F & F. It had nothing to do with the use of nitrous. I was agreeing with the comments that SCATCART had made about this guy not knowing what he was talking about.

A shot does help with turbo lag on big single turbos, but on seq twins there really isn't any lag.

Red_Ricer likes to spout out 'information' and b.s. reguardless if it makes any sense. Run a search under his name. I think many of the second gen. guys have gotten quite tired of it.
