Question Pulstar/direct hit spark plugs......

so what's the deal with these new plugs? has anyone tried them?
I don't see a listing for the rx7 on their site, but would hope that they will work for us. The website claims an increase in torque with these....which the RX7 could use.

Pretty sure they aren't designed for a rotary.

Be careful about installing random spark plugs, I've seen pictures of broken apex seals from a plug that actually extended *into* the rotor housing once installed.

they don't make them for rotaries, i've looked in to it. They allege that they're working on it.

Also, read the magnacore page. Lots of good information there.

Thanks, this would be a big help for us, since detonation is the enemy.

Ive also read an article in dsport about them. I know not the most reputable rag, but they did have some fairly substantial dyno results...

I looked at their website, and it does look like a "snake-oil" pitch to me.

Getting 100,000W from a 50W input?

There is no free energy, or free lunch, either.

Since I saw these Pulse Plugs over Popular Mechanic, I was really curious if it works. I was looking over the net for someone who has actually used it and saw the results for themselves. Most of the reviews were negative, like losing MPG.

Want a great plug made for Mazda:

R6725-9 through R6725-115, Mazda racing, fine wire platinum center and ground electrodes, 14mm, 21.5 mm/.846" reach, 13/16" hex, resistor, $32, .025" gap, the best for high power but idle may suffer, uses a normal socket.
