too many antenna cables ??

Just put dash back in after 6 month & am confused about the antenna cables.

2 males ends from the radio seam to fit the 2 female ends that go under the pass side carpet.

But, still have 2 other male ends under the dash.
Both go a few feet to the drivers side & end in a male end.

Have not found any info in the shop manual about cables like these.

Are there any other items using this type of wire in the car ? Or maybe these are left behind from an aftermarket peice.

I dont want to seal up the dash only to have to go back in latter to connect these 2 mystery wires.

car is a 94 auto w. bose system

Thanks

On my 93 R1 (no bose), I had 2 male ends that fit into the stock radio's 2-to1 connector. When I installed a new radio, the install kit from crutchfield had a male to male connector that only fits one of those male antenna leads. I didn't see another pair of connectors in mine.

You could just connect the radio and power it up while everything is still apart. That is what I did to ensure that everything was working before putting it all together.

The stock radio only uses the two males going to the rear. One for the pop-up AM radio antenna and one for the FM antenna in the rear windscreen.
