porting the uim and tb

i have a fc im doing the fd uim and tb swap on.. i know that on the 2nd gen forum lots of people port there uim and tb..i was wondering if anybody with a fd has done this and know were there is a good how to write up on how to do it

I wouldn't bother with the TB. I don't think there is very much to gain by porting, as it is already very streamlined. If you are going to port the UIM, just port match it and the LIM together.

What?? Just cause a rotory uses different components than a V8 doesn't mean that the same principles don't apply. Better flow of air and fuel will equate to better efficiency and more power. In a combustion engine, flow is everything. It's that simple. Now, the operation of the rotory may be such that port matching manifolds may not provide for the same level of results as a large displacement V8. But it will definately provide some improvements.
