morning startup - stalling??

I just noticed recently when I start the car in the morning, often times the rpm would drop and would stall the car after a few seconds. I can remedy this by slightly reving the motor and it'll be fine.

I have disabled the double throttle thing a while ago and this stall problem just happened recently...where should I start looking into this problem?

I have the same problem. Only on cold start. Will rev to about 2k, then drop and die. I still have the DTC, but I am going to remove it.

When you removed the double throttle did you also take out the fast idle cam or re-route the throttle body coolant lines? What you guys are describing is a common symptom of a problem in the throttle body coolant/wax rod/fax idle cam mechanism. Mine does this because all of that is gone on my car.

Most likely the cold start enrichment... Did you have the same map in last year when it was cold out?
