MOT part needed

Hi all

just took the car to be moted and....apparently

Offside rear (d bush) anti-roll bar has excessive play in a pin/bush, means nothing to me

Could someone post me a pic of what this thing actually is? i need to change it to pass the mot, cheers

Its a test in the uk that cars have if they are over 3 years old to see if they are safe and yes it includes emmisions but also electrics, chassis and in my case suspension bushes.

MOT is basically your standard yearly inspection. They have the MOT (in place of state inspection) and Road Tax. Lotta fun...

I would suggest posing this question on FDUK.org/forums and/or on www.MazdaRotaryClub.com. Those are the two larger Rotary websites for Europe.

I am not sure where Merseyside is, but I would suggest trying to order the parts from reworx.com. They can and will ship to you quite quickly. Or, if you are near Portsmouth you could probably just drive by and pick them up.

Did they test your emissions as well? Or did they stop when you failed for the bushings?

It is NOT easy to pass emissions with anything other than a stock exhaust system.

Yes it passed the emmisions, dont ask me how lol

get this,,,,, they failed me cos, they couldnt figure out how to open the petrol cap, its standard too,

also cos i only had 1 foglight, they put it down as offside not working. (it only has one arghh)

VIN PLATE NOT LEGIBLE TOO, meanig they couldnt open the bonnet/hood hahaha

btw Merseyside contains liverpool (brookside, the beatles) and is near Chester (hollyoaks) my nearest specialist is WGT i think.
